The Best Pizzerias in New York City

New York City remains to be one of the most prominent places on the planet to finding the best pizza. It is a well known fact that pizza remains to be one of the most popular foods across the globe and because it is enjoyed by billions worldwide, the demand for finding only the best pizzerias tends to grow rapidly on a daily basis. If you look at the number of pizza places in the United States alone and look at the reputation of New York City's pizza versus pizza from other areas of demographic, the exigency is superior. The reality is, life in "the big apple" never tasted so good which is why I am going to take you through a step-by-step guide to some of the finest pizzerias in Manhattan.

Usually when an establishment refers to themselves as "Best" they never usually live up to it, however; there are exceptions to that rule and this is actually one time it is so. Located in the heart of Manhattan on 1038 1st Ave. lies one of the most incredible pizzerias in NYC, Best Pizza On 1st. Best Pizza On 1st serves some of the most diverse, yet authentic food in the big apple, making it ultimately worth inquiring. The menu consists of a wide-range variety that ranges from "Cheese Calzone" (for only $5.50) that tastes incredible to "Manicotti" (for only $10.00) which is an amazing authentic Italian dish. The pizzas and pies are endless, with selections such as "Neapolitan Cheese Pie" (for only $15.00) that is excellent. Slices of pizza start at $2.50 and go up to $3.50. Also, if you are a vegetarian, you find this place great because they have a lot of great selections such as that "Eggplant Hero" (for only $6.00) which is an amazing sandwich made of eggplant. Best Pizza On 1st also has an array of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and entrees, that go beyond pizza and you get your money's worth. Not only is the service conscientious and timely, but they are incredibly operative, yet effective as a result. The prices are also incredible, especially if you are one who is looking to save money, as prices start from $1.00 and go up to $21.00. If you are looking for one of the best places to enjoy pizza in NYC, definitely take the time out of your day to visit this fine pizzeria. I love when I am strolling around the big apple not purposely looking for a great pizza eatery and then having the opportunity to come across one of the best pizza places that exist. Located on 7th Ave. at 201 W. 11th St. in the heart of Manhattan, Two Boots proves why it is one of the best pizzerias in NYC and ultimately worth your inquiry. Are boots really made for walking? With a pizza called "Tony Clifton Pizza" which includes wild mushrooms, Vidalia onions, sweet red pepper pesto, and mozzarella cheese, you just cannot get anymore creative than that (or can you?) The great thing about Two Boots is the fact they offer more palatable victuals besides pizza such as salads, strombolini, calzones, and many more. If you are a vegetarian, more than likely you'll find Two Boots to be an eatery that caters to your eating routine. This wonderful addition to NYC pizzerias also offers delivery services and even has a separate menu just for delivery. The prices range from $1.95 and go up to $28.95. One of my good friends thinks Two Boots has the best pizza in New York City. You keep saying you got something for me, but one thing is certain Two Boots is made for more than just walking. Get your boots on because Two Boots is ready for you. Two Boots is open Monday through Thursday from 11 am until 1 am, Friday 11 am until 2 am, Saturday 11 am until 2 am, and on Sunday 11 am until 12 am. Located at 2287 1st Ave. on 118th Patsy's Pizzeria proves why it is one of the best pizzerias in NYC. One of my favorite places to eat in New York City is definitely this place, because their "White Pizza" is incredible. Whether you fancy pizza, you can also learn to enjoy other stuff available at Patsy's Pizzeria including salads, appetizers, a wide-range variety of pastas, soups, and even desserts that are as delectable and delicious as some of the preeminent. Sometimes searching for great pizza can be complicated, but once you discover that place that makes you want to return over and over again, you realize it isn't so hard after all. Located near Union Square at 88 3rd Ave, in the heart of the big apple, lies one of the best pizza joints, Amici. What I love about Amici is the fact it is great for your budget, as the prices start at $1.00 and go up to $20.50. The menu consists of an array of food that goes beyond pizza such as paninis, wraps, and sandwiches, as well as, salads and entrees. If you are a vegetarian, you will have no problem finding something here, as they have several things to eat including the "Vegetarian Delight Pizza" which starts at $16.25 and goes up to $20.50 (depending on the size you get). Their amazing "Ricotta and Mozzarella Cheese Calzone" is only $3.99. To find a great deal like that in NYC is like searching for an A+ diamond in a pawn shop and actually finding it. You just cannot beat that. They also have desserts that start at $2.99 per slice and range from Chocolate Mousse Cake to Carrot Cake and more. Also, the thing that I love about Amici is the fact that the service is great, as they are social, but also considerate and prepared to take your order in a judicious manner. Amici is open Monday through Sunday from 11 am until 2 am. Whether you are looking to have a nice fulfilling lunch or you simply want to have a late night bite, you cannot go wrong with Amici. If you are looking for a great place that is immaculate, yet upmarket with a stalwart ambience and magnificent service, I truly recommend that you check out Arte Café. Arte Café is located on 106 W. 73rd St. (in between Amsterdam and Columbus Ave.) and remains to be one of the most refined, yet cultivated places to dine, especially in NYC for pizza. The Art Café's pizza selection is as distinctive as the individual that eats it. Another thing to love about this NYC pizzeria is the fact it has other options besides pizza that range from salads to sandwiches to pastas and entrees to even omelets, as brunch is available. The Art Café also includes several vegetarian friendly selections such as "Funghi Pizza Lunch" (which includes mozzarella, wild mushrooms, and tomato sauce) and is only $14.95 plus you get a choice of side with it. Angels are known as heavenly or compassionate individuals, but what you don't realize is, there is a place in Manhattan that has caused this word to redefine it's terms. Located on 1135 1st Ave near Lennox Hill, Angels proves why it is one of the best pizzerias in the big apple. It is a well known fact that Angels is a wonderful establishment that includes some of the finest pizza in New York City. Angels includes an universal selection of food that goes beyond pizza such as soup, sandwiches, appetizers, pastas, dinners, and entrees. The Agnolotti is insanely incredible. You can also enjoy variety of specials and combos, making Angels a place to not only enjoy, but look forward to. What I love about this fine pizza venue is the fact that it also has a vegetarian friendly selection too, making it a place for everyone to enjoy. The "Vegetarian Chili" (which starts $3.95 and goes up to $5.50) is delicious. Angels also includes an extensive dessert menu that varies from fresh cakes and pies to pastries and bars to cookies and more. I absolutely love the Canola (only $2.50) at Angels. Prices at Angels start from $1.00 and go up to $20.95, which makes this fine pizzeria heavily reasonable. Angels is open Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 9:45 pm EST and Sunday from 4 pm until 9:45 pm EST. For more information, simply phone: (212) 371-8484 today.

Often times you will hear about different businesses (in this case pizza) who will receive absolutely no or limited negative feedback. Most cases these are places where people who are radically critical about food actually have nothing unpleasant to say about the restaurant. In the case of Café Rustico II, that is the rationale. Located on 25 W. 35th St. Café Rustico II proves why it is one of the best places in NYC to enjoy pizza. This place includes an extensive pizza menu, where you will have your choice of "Brick Style" which is garnished with extra herbs and spices to "Traditional" which comes as a standard large 18" to "Sicilian" which is a thicker, more deep dish crust. I have several favorites, however; I am in love with the Traditional White Pizza. Café Rustico II also has other great food on the menu to enjoy such as appetizers, soups, salads, side orders, pastas, sandwiches, and entrees. Also, if you are a vegetarian, you will more than likely find something to eat at Café Rustico II. Prices are really decent, as they start from $1.00 and go up to $24.95. Some argue that this is actually the best place in NYC to eat pizza, however; depending on how you like your pizza, one can debate whether or not the opinion of such critic is unanimous. Café Rustico II is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am until 11:00 pm and on Sunday from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm. For more information, simply call: (212) 736-1114 right now.

One can say they love pizza, but if one eats pizza that isn't great nor lives up to their expectations, they are just going to be highly disappointed. Well, when it comes to Ivy's Bistro, you just have no reason to be disappointed. Located at 385 Greenwich St. on N. Moore St, this pizzeria proves why it is one of the best in Manhattan and a place of value, worth eating at. What I love about Ivy's Bistro is the fact that it is a place of ambience and class. Although I love the "Margarita Pizza" I absolutely find the "Primavera Pizza" quite enjoyable. Ivy's Bistro also offers breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, making it even more tempting. Besides pizza, Ivy's Bistro offers an variety of other food including omelets, appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, and much more. One of my friends loves the "Lobster Ravioli" and refuses to eat anything else, every time she visits Ivy's Bistro. Desserts are also available for those with a huge sweet tooth. If you are a vegetarian and have ran out of options of where to eat, look no further, as Ivy's Bistro more than likely has something for you. In fact, their "Garden Veggie Burger" is very popular. Prices range from $2.50 and go up to $25.95. If you are looking for a great pizzeria in NYC that is one of the best, definitely check out this fine restaurant, as you will not be disappointed.
