Hervé Léger is a world-renowned French fashion house created by Hervé L. Leroux. Created over 30 years ago, Hervé Léger created the classic bandage dress in a strong effort to mold and shape a woman's figure. Over 18 years ago, the brand was acquired by BCBG Max Azria. Then, in 2007 it was relaunched by Azria before finally being present as Hervé Léger by Max Azria in 2008.

Today, the brand is stronger than ever. As Hervé Léger introduced their newest collection for Fall and Winter, the show also had quite a few other surprises other than haute designs. As the official hair care sponsor of New York Fashion Week, TRESemmé's Orlando Pita gave the models a very chic, twisted punk braid.

“We wanted the hair to make a statement and Lubov Azria’s punk inspired collection was the perfect opportunity to do so. This style allows women to take a classic look and give it a grungy accent, so that they can channel their inner tomboy.”- Orlando Pita, New York Fashion Week Ambassador for TRESemmé told me.

So, is it possible to re-create this hair look at home? Absolutely.

First and foremost, you are going to want to shampoo and condition your hair. For this particular look, Pita started with the with the TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Shampoo and Conditioner as a base. The Perfectly (un)Done collection from TRESemmé will create effortless waves. As you continue, you are going to want to apply a small amount of the TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Wave Creation Sea Foam to the roots. Then, you are going to want to rough dry the hair, as this will enhance the hair's natural texture.

Then, you want to create an uneven deep side part. Now, you are going to want to begin plaiting and twisting from the forehead all of the way to the back of the neck. As you continue, you are going to want to the secure twisted plait with a small elastic and bobby pins, allowing only small strands to fall out. Taking a flat iron, you are going to want to run it over the top of the hair at the part line.

Then, shake hair over the shoulders to cover up the end of the braid. To finish the hair look, apply the TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Brushable Hold Hairspray for touchable hold.

Congratulations! You have just re-created the Hervé Léger hair for the Fall and Winter collection at New York Fashion Week. #NYFW
