Lupita Nyong'o stunned the red carpet Monday evening for the 2016 Met Gala in a very glamorous green gown courtesy of Calvin Klein. As the award-winning actress exhibited a stacked high hairdo, she really made a statement on the red carpet with her beautiful makeup. In fact, Nyong'o teamed up with celebrity makeup artist Nick Barose for an amazing makeup look to complement her gorgeous Calvin Klein dress using Lancôme, where Nyong'o is a current ambassadress.

"I love the idea of playing with shine and a metallic texture for this Met Gala and Calvin Klein dress,” said Nick Barose. "We kept the makeup monochromatic and played with shine, with metallic on the eyes and bronzy lips against her skin.”

So, is it possible to re-create this amazing makeup look at home? Absolutely.

First and foremost, Barose prepped Nyong'o's skin with the Lancôme Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate followed by the Lancôme Advanced Génifique Eye Light Pearl. He, then applied the Lancôme Absolue Precious Cells Nourishing Lip Balm. Once the products are absorbed, he blot her skin to remove any excess.

"When it comes to glowing skin on the red carpet, it’s about being gently shiny in certain spots, like the cheeks and bridge of the nose, instead of shiny all over which can end up greasy looking," Barose shared. To help keep Nyong'o's look, dewy and polished, Barose used the Lancôme La Base Pro Pore Eraser on the T-zone area.

As he continued with this look, the celebrity makeup artist applied the Lancôme Translucence Mattifying Silky Pressed Powder in 550 Suede. This works amazingly to control shine. Then, he applied the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Makeup Stick in 550 Suede C followed by the Lancôme Le Corrector Pro Concealer Kit in 550 Deep Suede OS under eyes to brighten. He finished the face with the Lancôme Blush Subtil Palette in Rum Raisin on the apples of her cheeks.

For the eyes, Barose applied the Lancôme Aquatique Waterproof Eyecolour Base in 06 Sienne as a first step. This works fabulously to prevent makeup from fading, creasing, flaking and melting. It also works to help keep eye makeup smooth too. Next, Barose used the Lancôme Color Design 5 Pan Eyeshadow Palette in 602 Gris Fumee on Nyong'o's lids.

As the celebrity makeup artist continued with the eyes, he lined the top lash line using Lancôme Artliner in Noir. On the lower lash line he used the Lancôme Le Stylo Waterpoof Long Lasting Eyeliner in Noir Intense. To add a bit of sparkle, he applied the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in GlamRock. Barose applied two coats of Lancôme Grandiôse Mascara in Noir Mirifique to the award-winning beauty's lashes. Her brows were defined and filled in using Lancôme Sourcils Gel Waterproof Eyebrow Gel-Cream in 06 Noir.

To finish the look, Barose lined and filled in her lips with the Lancôme Le Lipstique in Sheer Chocolate. To complete the look, he applied the Lancôme L’Absolue Rouge in Henne.

Congratulations! You have just re-created Lupita Nyong'o's makeup look for the 2016 Met Gala.
