You may know her as the younger sister of actresses turned fashion moguls Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, but what you don't realize is Elizabeth Olsen has branched out independently as a true performance artist. Featured in over 20 films alone, Olsen is true to her craft. And this evening Olsen stunned the red carpet at the 2016 CFDA Awards wearing a beautiful yet simple black dress. Olsen's hair was pulled back at the top, flowing effortlessly on the bottom. Her makeup really brought her entire look together as it truly complemented her style. In fact, the starlet teamed up with celebrity makeup artist and Simple Skincare Advisory board member Gita Bass for a beautiful makeup look to do just that.

“The simple elegance of Elizabeth's ‘The Row’ black silk jumpsuit was the inspiration for the makeup. Cool, elegant and gorgeous!” Bass shared with me about her look.

So, is it possible to re-create this amazing makeup look at home?

First and foremost, the celebrity makeup artist and Simple Skincare Advisory board member used the Simple Skincare Micellar Make-Up Remover Wipes followed by the Simple Skincare Protecting Light Moisturizer with SPF 15 to prep Olsen's face. It is extremely important to have a hydrated canvas, especially for red carpet events like these.

As Olsen has incredibly amazing skin, all Bass needed to apply were a few drops of the Giorgio Armani Maestro along with some of the Clé de Peau Concealer. This allowed the starlet to be camera-ready.

To continue with the face, Bass applied the NARS Bronzing Powder in Laguna on the hollows of Olson's cheeks, temples and then used the same product as blush to warm up Olsen's nose. This works incredibly to warm the skin, as it mimics the sun. Then, Bass applied the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone from Olsen's temples to her cheekbones, and a little down the bridge of her nose. This works amazingly to amp up radiance.

For the eyes, Bass created a simple chic eye that made Olsen's eyes pop. Bass smudged the Tom Ford Cream Color For Eyes in Spice to the beautiful actress's lids up all of the way up to the crease. Bass also applied this product to Olsen's bottom lash line and smudged with both of her fingers and a soft brush.

Taking the NARS Bronzing Powder in Laguna, Bass applied this all over the top as an eye shadow and blended well. She, then, smudged the Charlotte Tilbury Rock'N'Kohl Iconic Liquid Eyeliner Pencil in Barbarella brown close to the upper and lower and inner lash lines of Olsen's eyes. This creates added definition. To finish the eyes, the celebrity makeup artist applied several coats of the CHANEL INIMITABLE Mascara in Noir.

What about the eyebrows? Bass used the Anastasia of Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Taupe and set them with Anastasia of Beverly Hills Brow Gel.

To complete Olsen's makeup for the 2016 CFDA Awards Bass wanted to the perfect rosy nude. She applied the MAC Lip Pencil in Spice and feathered it over the lips mixing it with the AmorePacific Lip Treatment.

Congratulations! You have just re-created Elizabeth Olsen's makeup look for the 2016 CFDA Awards.
