Get the makeup look: Emily Blunt at The Girl on the Train NYC premiere

Emily Blunt looked amazing in her emerald green Prada dress for the New York City premiere of her latest film The Girl on the Train. The British beauty stunned the red carpet in an effortless hair style courtesy of Ashley Streicher. As her hair really brought the entire look together, her makeup really complemented her style. Courtesy of Jenn Streicher, the stunning starlet was treated to a bold, modern and edgy makeup look.

“The Girl on the Train.” Streicher shared, “I wanted to highlight Emily’s flawless skin and give her a unique lip color that you never see on the red carpet,” she continued.

So, is it possible to recreate this makeup look at home? Absolutely.

First and foremost, the celebrity makeup artist prepped the British beauty's skin. She used the Sisley Paris Black Rose Precious Face Oil. As she continued with the preparation process, she applied the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer – Hydrating where she massaged the product into Blunt's skin. To complete the prep, Streicher applied the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer – Radiance on Blunt's cheekbones to give them a subtle sheen.

As Streicher continued with the makeup look, she applied the Laura Mercier Silk Crème Moisturizing Photo Edition Foundation in Ivory all over Blunt's face. Then, she set the foundation with the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. “If you have gorgeous skin like Emily’s, you can make anything look good,” Streicher shared.

To achieve a rosy flush on Blunt's cheeks, the celebrity makeup artist dotted the Laura Mercier Crème Cheek Colour in Rosebud onto the apples of Blunt's cheeks and blended outwards with her fingers. Then, she brushed the Laura Mercier Candleglow Concealer and Highlighter directly above Blunt's cheekbones and under her eyes to add a natural highlight to her face.

As she continued, the celebrity makeup artist applied the Laura Mercier Eye Basics in Wheat and layered the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Rosegold on top to give her lids a hint of sparkle. Adding drama to the eye, Streicher lined Blunt's top lid with Laura Mercier Tightline Cake Eye Liner in Black Ebony. Then, she finished the stunning starlet's eyes with several coats of Laura Mercier Extra Lash Sculpting Mascara in Black Onyx.

Streicher began by brushing Blunt's brows out with the Laura Mercier Brow Dimension Fiber Infused Colour Gel in Brunette. “I love using the colored gel because it can help to darken the ends of the brows where they tend to get a little bit light,” Streicher shared. Then, she finished Blunt's brows by coloring them in with the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil.

To finish the entire makeup look, Streicher layered the Laura Mercier Velour Lovers Lip Colour in French Kiss and Laura Mercier Velour Lovers Lip Colour in Boudoir. To blend the two colors, she used the Laura Mercier Lip Colour Brush. “Emily’s entire look was based around the lip color,” Streicher shared.

Congratulations! You have just recreated Emily Blunt's makeup look for The Girl on the Train NYC premiere.
