Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion

The Shiseido Ultimate
Sun Protection Lotion.
When it comes to diversity, it is definitely in Shiseido's forte. In fact, it was in 1872 when Arinobu Fukuhara established the first Western-style pharmacy in the heart of Ginza, Tokyo. Fast forward over a 100 years, we are in the year 2017. Recently, Shiseido introduced the Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion. What makes this lotion so incredible goes beyond it's supreme protection.

Using Shiseido's patented WetForce technology, this hypoallergenic sunscreen becomes quite potent and more powerful for 15 minutes when applied to areas of the body exposed to sweat and water. Whether you are looking for great protection when running a marathon or searching for sunscreen that protects you while you are in the pool, this lotion is the best one you will ever use.

Infused with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, this sunscreen offers mineral protection and is great for those of you who embrace the concept of using minerals on your skin. Using the SuperVeil-UV 360 technology, this sunscreen also works to reduce dermatoheliosis (or photo-aging). Applying this to your face will prevent it from burning, but will also prevent your skin from getting exposed to oxidative stress and DNA damage.

After applying this sunscreen to my face, I noticed that my skin remained absolutely untouched from the sun. No burns let alone irritation occurred. When it comes to supreme protection, this lotion really delivers true benefits. It is also moisturizing and because of both the WetForce and SuperVeil-UV 360 technology, the hydration is locked into the skin instantaneously. Although the powdery finish leaves a lot to be desired, the moisture is modestly long-lasting, which leaves a lot of love and appreciation for this particular sun care product by Shiseido.

Shiseido's Ultimate Sun Protection lotion offers a plethora of benefits from the sun, including both UVA and UVB rays. 50+ SPF to be exact. This sensational sunscreen is free of parabens, alcohol, fragrances and other synthetic chemicals. It is also free of Para-Aminobenzoc Acid (or PABA). This is great for every skin type, including sensitive skin.

You can find the Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion Sunscreen at Shiseido for $42. Would I use this sunscreen again? Absolutely. Would I recommend this sunscreen to a friend? Yes. Would I recommend this sunscreen to you? Yes. For more information about this sunscreen, simply visit the official site today.

Get the makeup look: Nicholas K Fall/Winter 2017 NYFW

A look at the makeup for the Nicholas K
FW'17 show.
(Photo provided by Bollare)
New York Fashion Week kicked off late last week in the heart of the big apple. As the most world-renowned fashion event in the city that never sleeps, fashion week delivers some of the hottest (and hautest) collections from some of your favorite designers and labels. And in spite of the heavy snow fall and chilling temperatures NYFW was in full effect Thursday especially when Nicholas K debuted their collection for Fall/Winter 2017. As the collection had somewhat of an urban chic flair, it also embodied an essence of street wear we don't see too often. And as the designs shined the runway, the makeup on the models really complemented them and as a result, brought the entire look together. For the Nicholas K show, the models were glammed by Sarah Lucero, Global Executive Director of Creative Artistry.

Lucero was inspired by the gold pieces and accessories in the new collection, she decided to create a look to complement this. With so many options, she decided to go with a beautiful gold eye and a neutral lip.

So, is it possible to recreate this look at-home? Absolutely.

First and foremost, Lucero started prepping the models' skin. When doing any kind of makeup look it is so important to start with a clean face. Making sure the lips are exfoliated, hydrated and moisturized, the celebrity makeup artist also brushed the models' eyebrows.

As she continued, she cleaned up the brows before filling them in. Taking the Stila All Day Waterproof Brow Color, the celebrity MUA began brushing, feathering and shaping the models' brows.

Then, Lucero used the Stila All Day Foundation, while correcting the skin minimally. This not only gives the face dimension, but some depth which really stands true as a natural contour.

Sarah, then, started using the new Stila Matte 'n Metal Eyeshadow Palette, where she used shades that complemented the skin tone of the models. Before doing this; however, the makeup artist warmed the eye using a light transitional shade from the Stila essential.

Using primarily matte eyeshadow shades, Lucero took the Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in Glow Goddess and lined both the upper and lower lash line of the models' eyes. She, then, finished with a few coats of the Stila Huge Mascara.

Although the foundation worked to enhance the models faces for this look, the celebrity makeup artist decided to add some amazing contour to this look. For this particular look, she used the Stila Shape & Shade Custom Contour Duo along the cheekbone giving it both dimension and depth.

To finish the entire makeup look, the Global Executive Director of Creative Artistry used the new Stila Color Calm Balm Grayson, which works to also prime the lips. Then, she applied the Stila Lip Glaze in Apricot.

Congratulations! You have just recreated the models' makeup look for the Nicholas K Fall/Winter 2017 show. #NYFW
