Happy Birthday Sumit

Happy Birthday Sumit!
I am a firm believer that the best things in life are not free, but rather happen naturally. You see, several months ago I met a wonderful man from North India. We would talk sporadically about life and liberty, but just on a platonic, friendship level. Needless to say, I was very intrigued by him in many ways. He was not only intellectually endowed, but strikingly handsome with more drive than NASCAR. And the fact he had direction towards goals and pursuits and not the local dive bar was impressive. One thing that was very obvious to me was the fact that every time he would say anything to me, I felt as if I were speaking to someone who possessed supreme wisdom (which is a rarity in this world, especially in 2018), as everything he said was projected both skillfully and perspicaciously.

After about a month of talking everyday, we both realized that we loved each other. It was not planned. It just happened. And as our love continues to grow more and more, each and everyday, I find myself falling more and more, head-over-heels in love with him. Does that make sense? There are so many things I love about him. Where do I start? The way he expresses his thoughts as if he's lived for centuries, the way he can describe something and possess so much knowledge about it, his spirituality and how he sees good in almost everything, his loyalty and devotion, as well as; his dedication to me and the love we have and of course, his sparkling brown eyes and incredible smile.
My boyfriend Sumit.

Falling in love can be hard, yes and may also be even more complicated than solving the hodge conjecture; however, when love happens naturally and finds you, that is what makes the love greater and in the end, the love I have for 'Sumit' makes the world go round. You see, Sumit (that is his name) gives me a reason to not only love and appreciate him, but myself, my life and those around me too. He made me realize that life is valuable and every minute, second and moment is a memory-breeding journey that can take you virtually anywhere in life, as long as you let it.

Sumit, taught me so many vital lessons about life and has allowed me to experience what happiness truly is, as he brightens my day everyday. He told me never to regret anything in life and live life like it is your last day, every day. He also taught me that amazing things can happen when you don't try to look for them and that a light at the end of the tunnel exists. He encourages me to be a stronger, well rounded person daily and for that I am truly grateful. With a heart of platinum, there is no one on the planet like Sumit. He is someone I can see myself growing old with and if I am being honest with myself, I would say that I can see myself with him forever.

Sumit (and I know you are reading this) I want you to know everyday with you in my life is a true blessing. I am so lucky to be the one to grow with you. You are truly the love in my heart and the love of my life. In the end, we are made for each other. Sumit, I am so thankful that came into my life, as there is no one on earth who can take your place. You make me the happiest I have ever been. I wish you only the best life can bring you, as I wish you the best success, joy, and prosperity. You are my sun, my moon and my star. And whether near or far, I love you so much. Happy Birthday!

Thank you Sumit for making my birthday amazing

I literally have the greatest boyfriend in the world. I first met Sumit several months ago. We had an immediate connection. He is literally fascinating on every level, as he is a polymath, a renaissance man. When I speak to him, it is as if I am speaking to someone who has lived over 5,000 years. In spite of being intelligent, starting college at just 16 years old, I found myself compatible with him in many ways that go beyond intellect.

As our love continues to grow, I can honestly admit that he is the one I want to grow old with, as he is someone I can see myself with for the rest of my life. He inspires me everyday and he makes me the happiest I have ever been in years.

Today, he took the initiative to surprise me with this cake. This birthday cake uses an image of me which I took several months ago for him. I wrote on my hand, showing my love and appreciation for him.

As the image is made out of edible sugar, the cake itself is an impressive dynamic of flavors. It is a vanilla pineapple cream cake with several layers, glammed with gold icing that is a mango flavored buttercream which is garnished with maraschino cherries and edible pearls. And of course the "Happy Birthday" d├ęcor was added to show it's a birthday cake. One candle was placed in the heart on my hand.

I love you so much Sumit. Thank you for making my day brighter and better. Words cannot express how deeply touched and moved I am. You are truly the love of my life.

Happy 11th Birthday Murphy

Today is my amazing cat's 11th birthday. I remember when I first got her 11 years ago. She was about a month old. She was already meowing the moment she walked through the front door, unleashed and ready to take over. My dogs wouldn't allow anyone near her, due to their protective yet maternal instincts. It was the cutest thing.

It's hard to believe she is 11 years old. Where has time gone? I hope she lives until I have my first child. One thing is certain, I am honored and blessed to have a wonderful cat like her. She was amazing then and she's amazing now.

Today Is Freddie Mercury's Birthday

Happy Birthday Farrokh Bulsara! In my opinion, there is no other artist in the world like Freddie. He had the voice, the artistry, the personality, and the charisma. His style and image was one thing, however, every time he opened his mouth, you knew it was him singing and as a result, he had unbelievable projection because he made you believe what he was singing about. Freddie delivered vocally through every single performance.

If I had to choose my top 10 favorite songs by Freddie Mercury/Queen, I really couldn't, however; my favorites right now include:

In My Defence
Bohemian Rhapsody
Who Wants To Live Forever
The Show Must Go On
I Want To Break Free
Barcelona
There Must Be More To Life Than This
It's Late
Mr. Bad Guy
Thank God It's Christmas
Deliliah
The March Of The Black Queen
Princes Of the Universe
Living On My Own
Foolin' Around
Radio Ga Ga
Liar
Funny How Love Is
A Kind Of Magic
Save Me
Let's Turn It On
Somebody To Love
We Are The Champions
You And I
Don't Try Suicide
It's A Hard Life
Jesus
Under Pressure

You may be gone, but you are never going to be forgotten in this life time. Happy Birthday Freddie!
