Watching the Karate Kid and reminding myself...

...why I am so excited to be getting back into martial arts and gymnastics in 2013...

I always wanted to take gymnastics and martial arts.

Hey Sarah, didn't you use to date an UFC fighter?

Martial arts is a great way to not only stay in shape, but channel your emotions. I was taking quite a few earlier last year through earlier this year, but had stopped because I was so busy. I definitely recommend martial arts to anyone.

I use to date an UFC fighter a long time ago. It's been about 3 years since I have seen him now, I would say.

Sarah, it's been 2. You dated in 2010. It's not that long ago. I don't know why you ended things with him considering he loved you a lot. You believed everything those low life trolls told you. I understand you are not a relationship person but, Aaron was so in love with you.

What martial arts did you train?

What martial arts have you taken?

I have trained Kung Fu, Escrima/Kali, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, Aikido, Hapkido, BJJ, and Sambo. I found that Kung Fu is the most effective in terms of stand up. I also appreciate Escrima/Kali and am rather good at it. Sambo is the most effective ground game. The latest martial art I trained was Muay Thai. I had trainers. One is a trainer at Grand Master Toddys gym in Las Vegas named Will and the other is a guy named Pham who is from Bangkok who I met through a friend. I feel like I have a lot to learn, which is why I want to continue recreationally.

Is Escrima the martial art where you fight with weapons?

I want to take BJJ or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Escrima/Kali is a Philipino martial art which emphasizes on weapons. I have always wanted to learn it. Sarah, is it fun?
