It's So Hard To Say Goodbye (To Yesterday) by Sarah Afshar

I took to my favorite escapism at the moment, Smule to join my friend Jarell Bradley's (You probably know him as Look_itz_RELL) open duet of It's So Hard To Say Goodbye (To Yesterday).

Originally by Boyz II Men, this song really tells a story about life. The message is quite inspirational and allows you to cherish every moment you have while living on earth. Because at the end of the day, you never know if yesterday will be your last.

When I hear this song it brings back memories of my childhood, as I remember hearing this song as a kid and loving it. I found the song to be soulful yet spoke words of real, tried and true gospel. Needless to say, I am inspired by this song every single time I sing it. I've heard it played at funerals, graduation ceremonies, in churches, and even weddings.

I always love singing with RELL, as he is not only an amazing singer, but such a kind soul also. To listen to our rendition of It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday, simply watch the video above or click here now. Thank you for listening and have an amazing Monday night.

I first heard this song in the late 90s, as I was transitioning from my high school years to adulthood. Boys II Men has always been one of my favorite groups, and their music was a major part of that time for me, but this particular song had escaped my attention until then. Listening to it now brings back so many memories and emotions - it's truly incredible!

This is easily one of the greatest duets I have ever heard; your voice Sarah is mesmerizing and perfect complements Michael's soulful singing style. The two voices blending together creates a beautiful harmony that instantly transports me back to those halcyon days of youth. It will be stuck in my head forever!
