The last Sunday of October 2018

Me today.
Hello everyone. It is officially the last Sunday of October. As we fly into Fall, I can only think about the work week ahead. I've garnered a fondness for multitasking and am now discovering this to be one of my strongest virtues. Perhaps, I have no choice other than to work on multiple things at once, as that is the only way to get the job (and in this case multiple jobs) done.

I woke up in good spirits. I took a nice shower before getting dressed and ready for the day. Today I decided to do my basic housework. In the early morning I cleaned, vacuumed, and carpet scrubbed my house before making my way to grocery market to buy a few things. Recently, I am really loving Albertsons. Not only do they have a great selection of produce and cheese, but vegetarian alternatives, including some of my personal favorites. I also love the customer service there too. Especially the Market Street store here in Meridian. It is one of the best supermarkets in the area.

I saw a bunch of fresh red bananas and the sales associate was so kind, they ask if I wanted to try one. I had tried them before and although they are good, they fail in comparison to match the traditional yellow. And it seems like every single time I inquire about something in the store, I am always offered a sample. I literally would love to go to every Albertson's store in the United States and review them each individually to see if they are all this great.

I'm rambling, I know.

Anyways, today, I decided to not do full glam, but embrace more of a natural yet wearable look. Although my makeup is visible, as you can see from today's photo, I wanted to just enhance my features. For today's selfie, I used the following makeup products:

Smashbox Cosmetics 24 Hour Shadow Primer in the shade Barely-There Sheer, By Terry Eye Designer Palette in 1 Smoky Nude, Motives Waterproof Eye Pencil in the shade Black Magic, Chantecaille Luster Glide Silk Eyeliner in the shade Slate, and Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara in Black. (Eyes)

Motives Lip Crayon in the shade Dusty Rose and Motives Maven Matte Lipstick in the shade Reveal Me. (Lips)

And in case you are wondering where my dress (although you cannot see much of it) is from, it is from Hot Miami Styles.

Additionally, I am really loving and appreciating the Bhagavad Gita. In case you are wondering what it is, it is a Hindu scripture written by Lord Krishna. It is quite possibly one of the most inspiring texts I have read. At least in a while. It is modestly complex, as the translation is in old English. I've read it multiple times and find myself still looking at it when I can for more inspiration. Needless to say, I am quite inspired. It has such a profound effect on me, but find myself relentlessly looking at it.

I hope you are having a wonderful day. As much as I am contemplating and debating whether I want to go to the gym and workout for a few, I've decided that I want to take a nice relaxing bath and catch up on some much needed sleep. Today is national chocolate day, so I may take serious advantage. I'm kind of craving dark chocolate right now.

Thank you for reading. Have an amazing day!
