Just another day, just another Monday

Today was a relatively productive day overall, as I managed to get a lot accomplished. It is Monday so I know there are four days left in the work week. I am not going to be doing back flips just yet though. I probably shouldn't settle for a life where the most exciting day is Friday, hence why I am modestly content with the way my life is going right now.

On a softer note, I decided to go full orange glam today. I went with orange makeup (or orange eyes) to complement my orange dress.

First and foremost, I prepped and primed my skin. I used the Pixi Beauty Gold Luminous Oil followed by the Pixi Beauty Flawless Beauty Primer. Using a beautyblender, I applied the Rituals Miracle Foundation in the shade Ivory Beige. Then, I applied the Mehron Celebre Pro HD Finishing Powder in the shade Medium. To contour, I used the KKW Beauty Creme Contour Stick in the shades Light/Medium and Medium II. And to highlight I used the Mehron Highlight Pro-3 Palette in the shade Cool.

With the eyes I wanted something dramatic yet wearable. For the eyes, I didn't prime them like usual and went with the Giorgio Armani Beauty Eye Tint Liquid Eyeshadow in the shade 23- Camel Smoke. I didn't want to go crazy, so I decided to use the Shu Uemura Pressed Eyeshadow in the shades Orange 250 and Orange 251. To be honest, the 251 is beautiful but it isn't as pigmented as it could be. Then, I used Kylie Cosmetics Eyeshadow Single in Juicy followed by Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in the shade Mean Money/Hu$tla Baby. I finished my eyes with a few coats of the Eyeko Rock Out & Lash Out Mascara in the shade Beatnik Black. And on my brows I used the Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Eye Pencil in the shade 5.

For my lips, I used the Kylie Cosmetics Lipkit in the shade 22 topped with the limited-edition CoverGirl Star Wars Lipstick in the shade Gold 40 and the Fenty Beauty Cosmic Gloss in the shade Spacesuit.

My dress is from Herve Leger. I wore a jacket with it from Missguided. My necklace is from Nordstrom. My champagne diamond ring is an inherited piece.

In other news, New York officially proved why it is one of the best states in America by banning cat clawing. You can read the article here. Yes, not only will cat clawing be officially banned, but New York is the first state to do this. As a cat lover, I agree with this wholeheartedly and find this to be history in the making.

Additionally today is Pi Approximation Day. If you are a mathematician or simply have an interest and love for mathematics, you will appreciate today. And in case you are unaware Pi basically identifies the relationship between a circle's diameter and circumference. Pi is 3.14 (or 22/7 which is equal to 3.14) and proves its significance in everyday life, as the number is fundamentally ambiguous.

Other great days happening today include: Summer Leisure Day, Lion's Share Day, Spoonerism Day, Hammock Day, and National Penuche Fudge Day. Other observances on July 22, 2019 include: Liberation Day in Guam, Women's Union Day in Laos, and Sarawak Independence Day in Malaysia. I don't know why, but I always find inspiration in national days. There is always something to learn about them and they play such an immense role in society and culture.

Although I wanted to save this for another blog post, I don't think it's too late to share some of my favorites for the month. Some of my current beauty favorites that I am loving right now include: Chuda Beauty Everyday Exfoliating Cleanser, Skinceuticals C E Ferulic Serumerborian BB Creme Au Ginseng ClairCle de peau Beaute Radiant Multi-Repair Oil, TRIA Beauty SmoothBeauty Eye Wrinkle Laser, the Puruskin, Enhanced Total Body Derma Roller KitEllis Faas Lights, KKW Beauty Creme Contour Stick, the Olivia Garden Healthy Hair Eco-Friendly Natural Bamboo Large Paddle Brush, and the Qtica Sugar Scrub.

And those non-beauty favorites I am really loving also include: PUBG Mobile, Vita Coco Original Coconut WaterMonster Hydro drink in the flavor Blue Ice (although I must say I haven't tried them all), MuscleTech SX-7 Revolution Pre-Workout in the flavor Icy Rocket Freeze, Country Crock Plant Butter, Tofurky Deli Ham, the Design Home app, Zella activewear, DIY crafts from recycled materials (I love turning trash into treasure or up-cycling), the Bhagavad Gita, cooking anything Indian, watching documentaries about history (especially those with a mystery and/or suspense kind of angle), listening to Spotify, Old Town Road, and reading about virtually anything political.

There are 162 days left in 2019 which means, there is a lot of work that needs to be done before we approach 2020. With that said, it is time for me to have a shower now because I want to make dinner in a few. I hope you are having a wonderful day.

You are a beautiful person, both inside and out. I first heard about you on a podcast, and while the guy who was talking about you reminded me of a stalker I used to have, after doing some more research into your background I realized it was all just propaganda. You're smart, stunning, and successful - it's clear those who were attacking you were only doing so out of envy and malicious intent. It's inspiring to see how far you've come in spite of that adversity. You truly deserve all the success you have achieved!

You are a vision of beauty, radiating the same captivating allure as Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Sophia Loren. Your grace and poise exude an effortless charm that is incomparable.

You are a breathtakingly beautiful sight, and you have such an amazing presence that reminds me of both Kim Kardashian and Angelina Jolie. I was so lucky to stumble upon your blog when you posted pictures of your Christmas tree in the Facebook group - it's been one of my favorite holiday activities ever since.
