Christmas is less than four days away

Christmas is less than four days away and honestly, I am not fully ready yet. In spite of being busy (and who isn't during the holidays) I was able to make it to the store today to buy a few things (mainly grocery items) that I needed. When it comes to the holidays, I always find myself shopping at the last minute offline and if I intend to purchase something online, I try to do so in advance.

I did a lot of my shopping Cyber Monday (December 2nd) where I spent the vast majority of my money on Amazon. I took several beauty surveys for various companies and was paid in Amazon gift cards for my reviews so I was able to buy for my family and friends then, but I have yet to get a gift for my boyfriend's parents, who I consider family. They are two wonderful people who live in Northern India. Yesterday, I sent a cake to their house using the app Winni and it was a disaster. Not only did they send the wrong cake, but they said "Happy Birthday" on the cake instead of saying "Jai Mata Di" which is what should have been written on the cake.

When I contacted Winni regarding this, they tried to say that some of the bakers who work independently with them use different ways of creating a cake and that they don't see the issue as wrong, when I sent them photos of their screw up. I usually like ordering from them because they do deliver amazing flowers. So the fact they messed up on the cake is shocking to me.

Today, I decided to do a modestly glam look I created using some of my favorite makeup products. Before I did anything though, I scrubbed my face with one of my favorite scrubs, the Chuda Beauty Everyday Exfoliating Cleanser. I am obsessed with this face product because it contains both a face wash and a scrub in one. I recommend this to all of the beautiful women who read my blog.

First and foremost, I primed my face using the Japonesque Velvet Touch Primer which is one of my favorite primers at the moment. I used a little bit of NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Crema Catalana followed by the NARS Tinted Glow Booster in Kalvoya and the NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Powder. I did some contouring utilizing the KKW Beauty Creme Contour Stick in shades Medium I and Medium II.

I have been really wanting to dig into the new Jeffree Star x Shane Dawson palettes that I have, but haven't had the chance. For this look, I used eyeshadows in the shades Canceled, Flat Earth, and The Simulation from the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Mini Controversy Palette and What's The Tea? from the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Controversy Palette. Additionally, I used the Benefit Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil in the shade 5 on my brows and the Eyeko Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner followed by several coats of the Benefit BADgal BANG! Mascara in black.

For the lips, I used the Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit in the shade Dolce K.

Some of my favorites for the month (and I should probably do a separate blog post regarding this) include: the Olie Biologique 005 Huile Radicale Rejuvenating Face OilSo Delicious CoconutMilk Holiday NogToon Blast, Toy Blastthe Peanut Butter Banana with Dark Chocolate CLIF Bars, the Bhagavad Gita, Hindu Agamas, anything "pro" regarding President Trump, Investing.com, and the Halo Pocket Power 6000. I have more to add, but I think I will save that for a new blog post.

Well, it looks like the pizza I ordered is here. I hope you are having a wonderful day, afternoon, evening, or night depending on where you live in this crazy yet beautiful world.

I’m such a fan of you. I heard about you on Sword and Scale episode 12. The schizophrenic guy on there tried to make you out to be a nutcase when you can tell he is the nutcase. His tantrum backfired like woah. You are a beautiful woman. Huge fan of you.

Very gorgeous woman. I love your voice too. I heard you on the Even Salt Looks Like Sugar podcast. I love how well spoken you are. I honestly wasn’t expecting it.
