Well it is finally 2020

Well, it is finally here - Happy New Year! Today is the first day of a brand new decade. As we walk out of 2019, we can only look back at the good, great, and amazing memories of the year and the decade. We can also anxiously await what is in store for 2020. And I don't know about you, but I am very excited about starting a brand new decade. Don't get me wrong, in spite of some minor hardships and adversity, I loved 2010 through 2019, but I am so looking forward to the future.

Today I had a rather interesting conversation to start the decade off with my boyfriend. We talked about time and how valuable it is. How everything we do dictates what we are meant to be doing and how everything happens for a reason. However, we also discussed the importance and value of time and how time is wasted when we don't do anything. This is definitely something I find to be true. Time is a virtue after all and wasting it is never going to lead towards success in any shape or form.

I started actually brainstorming what I want to achieve. I have many goals, accomplished quite a few, and yet I feel like there is so much more to conquer. Life is a journey and it can and will take you anywhere you choose to go. I was looking at the date today and I noticed quite a few things based off of the numbers. When you closely examine the numbers that correlate with today's date January 1, 2020. January represents one, as it is the first month of the calendar year. Today represents the first day of the year and we are now in the year 2020, which is the start of a brand new decade.

Looking at the number one, it represents something new or the beginning of something. Evidently this represents the beginning of the year, as well as, the beginning of the decade. The number one is represented twice. 1 + 1 = 2. The number two represents independence and balance.

January stands for one, as today, Wednesday, the 1st day of 2020 stands for one. 2020 = 2 + 0 + 2 + 0 = 4. Four is associated with safety and security and is often associated with the connection of your mind, your body, and your spirit. I was having a great conversation with Toni Ingram regarding numerology and she informed me that today is a very important day, as universal energy will make it's famed debut based on the year alone. In Hinduism, the number four represents the four stages of development throughout life.

The number 2020 can be dissected as the number itself, but can also split into 2, 0, 20, 02, 202, and 020. The number zero symbolizes God, energy, and life. Although this number may not seem to have value in this physical world, it has much more value than you think. In Hinduism, the physical laws of nature do not apply when you talk about the number 0, so this number's value has supreme significance in the spiritual world more so than the physical world.

The number two itself dictates dualism and also differences, which proves nothing in life is the same, as we are all different. Consciously and sub-consciously speaking, nothing we see is the same and what we do see may be construed distinctively versus the same way. The number two represents multiple things including independence and balance (as I stated previously) but also represents our mind and a our senses. In Hinduism, this number designates the distinction between Heaven and Hell, right from wrong, life and death, health and sickness, knowledge and ignorance, love and hate, and mortality and immortality. Thus which makes this number the result of one thing joining another.

And speaking of one thing joining another, 1+1 = 2. You have two (2) in 2020, so if you take 2+2 it equals 4. 4+2 = 6. The number 2020 is split six times with 2, 0, 20, 02, 202, and 020. Six means many things; however, this number traditionally symbolizes balance between good and bad. This number also delivers six unique positions of planet earth. In Hinduism, this number represents the limbs of Vedangas which are a very important part of life and the world we live in.

But, what does 2020 really mean?

The number itself distinguishes differences between two very important things, with God and nature being the main one. The earth and the sun, as well as, the earth and the moon are others. With 0 representing being and life, adding a 0 onto two enhances the value of it. In this case, the number is 2020.

So, what do I think?

This is the year for accomplishment, so it is time to utilize your knowledge and wisdom to create goals that you want to achieve. Be creative, compassionate, loyal, honest, motivated, unbiased, and optimistic and you can and will achieve virtually anything you set your mind to. Good karma is only achievable if you are a good person, as strong vedas make you a smart person, and a great dharma makes you an even happier one. Everything we do in life is a reaction to something, as everything we live by reacts to us. Without cause there is no reaction, without a reaction, a cause ceases to exist.

The positive is inevitable, as the negative is too. I believe that life is amazing, as I am idealist, but my cynical side always believes there is always something negative that lurks in the shadows. And this pertains to virtually everything in life. Did you ever notice this? I can't be the only one who does. Perhaps this is impersonal energy I've independently explored or simply personal transcendent power and razor sharp intuition. Growth exists if we start to realize there is much more to life than we already know or are aware of. Kind of like cholesterol being bad for your heart, but being good for your brain. Or did I say this backwards? Perhaps I am rambling.

As for 2020, it is hard to predict what that negative will be let alone bring to the new decade and new year, but something will happen that will have a huge impact on humanity. And because of this multiple things will also occur as a result of this. If you examine the numbers 2020 closely, you will see how this number correlates with a strong change that will affect groups of people rather than just one individual. You will also notice a pattern of dramatic changes that have happened in the beginning of every decade and year. My source is history and one quick look at it will reveal the truth. Perhaps, I am overthinking, but needless to say something is destined to happen as everything in life is balanced by negative and positive results. But in the end, that something I spoke of previously, that negative is always something that could be useful to us. In fact, any negative that impacts our world will also bring people together and allow humanity to build stronger.

Karma and dharma are very much alive and real. Be a good person and don't lose yourself along the way. Because in the end, you get what you give. And it is important to love yourself and your life, so you can rely less on others to love you. I don't know about you, but I am looking forward to what is in store for not just the year, but the decade itself. A new dawn, a new day, a new eve, a new night, and a new life. From my home in Meridian, Idaho to your home, wherever you are - Happy New Year!

Personally, I like to live one day at a time. I'm not so keen about years which is why I don't make new year resolutions. The goal is to be better than I was yesterday.
