Psychic Insights: Angela Spicer on the Morgan Ingram Case

Psychic Morgan Ingram

This is an exclusive, previously unpublished interview with psychic medium and clairvoyant Angela Spicer, in which she offers her insights on the tragic stalking and murder of Morgan Ingram, a young woman from Colorado who lost her life in December 2011. When I spoke with Angela, she had no prior information about this case; it was a spontaneous conversation. The only technology used was our iPhone 4s via FaceTime.

I first encountered Angela at a casino in Dillon, Montana, in late 2009 and our friendship blossomed over the years as she provided me with numerous readings, including poignant reflections on my grandmother, who passed away more than two decades ago. Angela's untimely passing in January 2018 left a void in many lives, including mine.

Since our conversation in late 2014 regarding the Morgan Ingram case, I have felt compelled to share this reading. Although I recorded our discussion, it remained unpublished on the internet—until now. What you are about to read is the full interview, presented in its entirety. Without further delay, here is psychic Angela Spicer's reading on the Morgan Ingram case.

Sarah: Hello Angela. How are you? I’m reaching out today because I need your help and more importantly, Toni and Steve Ingram do as well. They are seeking answers in the ongoing case surrounding the death of their daughter, Morgan, who tragically passed away a few years ago. Her mother, Toni, discovered her lifeless in her bedroom on December 2, 2011.

Angela: That is horrible.

Sarah: It truly is. There are numerous unanswered questions surrounding this case. Unfortunately, the investigation, particularly by the sheriff, was poorly handled. The detective involved in this case had a lack of diligence which resulted in inadequate interrogation of the primary suspect.

Angela: Does she have brown hair? It’s light brown. Not dark brown. Is it long? Almost wavy. Not straight, but not curly.

Sarah: Yes, she had long, lighter brown hair. Would you like any additional details about Morgan Ingram?

Angela: Don’t tell me anything. Let her show me. She’s stepping forward. She’s saying he raped her here and is showing me what looks to be a bedroom. She’s pointing to the floor. I think it’s her bedroom. It looks like a bedroom. Does she have paintings and photos on her walls? I’m seeing artwork all over the place.

Sarah: I think so. I would have to ask Toni.

Angela: She keeps telling me that he raped her here and is pointing to the floor.

Sarah: The individual who stalked her is named Keenan Vanginkel. Is he the one responsible? Is she revealing anything about him to you?

Angela Spicer

Angela: Give me one second. She’s showing me a man with dark brown almost black hair. He has side burns. Really skinny. Does he kind of have a big nose?

Sarah: I'm not certain, but I believe so. I came across a photo from a global activity report that Toni shared on her blog, and in it, he has sideburns and a prominent nose. He kind of resembles Ezra Miller.

Angela: Is Ezra the guy who plays The Flash?

Sarah: Yes. He was in the “The Perks of Being a Wildflower” that came out a few years ago too.

Angela: Yeah, that’s the guy I’m seeing. That’s the guy she’s showing me.

Sarah: I’m going to text you a photo just to make sure the man you are seeing is in fact the same guy. The photo is of Keenan Vanginkel. I want you to tell me if this is the person you are seeing.

*Sends Text Message*

Angela: Are you sending it now?

Sarah: Yes. Check.

Angela: That’s him. He is wearing all black or was wearing all black when I see him though. I’m seeing him through Morgan’s lens.

Sarah: So, did he assault her? How on earth did he manage to get into the house? That's what I really want to understand.

Angela: The back door wasn’t locked. I think there was a keyboard or a piano in front of it. It was moved and it wasn’t locked. He got into their home that way. I’m also seeing him inside of her closet the night he murdered her just waiting for her to get home.

Sarah: He was hiding in her bedroom closet?

Angela: Yeah.

Sarah: Oh my God. This is so scary. Was he stalking her then?

Angela: Yes. He was so obsessed with her too. It wasn’t just following her around town. He watched her every move. He was so obsessed with her to a level of “if I can’t have her, no one else can.” I can’t describe the level of obsession. He was stalking her.

Sarah: That's terrible. Is she revealing to you how she died or how she was murdered? I assume she was murdered, particularly if she was assaulted.

Angela: Yeah, she was murdered. He did it. I’m seeing he injected her with a syringe. I don’t know what is inside of it or what he hit her with it. It’s clear and has like orange tips.

Sarah: Did he inject her before or after the assault? Do you have any information about what was in the syringe? What else do you see?

Angela: I have no idea what was in the syringe. I am being shown her texting someone and going to sleep. He comes out of the closet and she wakes up. There is something near her bed and I’m not sure what it is. I think it’s something to alert her parents.

Sarah: I think that’s the panic button.

Angela: She goes to hit it and he knocks it off the bed. Like rips it off completely. She’s shaking and goes to call someone. I think 9-1-1. I don’t know for sure. He grabbed her phone like out of her hands and throws that too.

Sarah: The panic button was ripped off. I do believe. So that is why her phone was found on the bathroom floor?

Angela: Yeah. She’s showing me more. He tells her if she screams she’s going to die and he will kill not only her, but her parents or something like that. I can’t make it out, but he’s covering her mouth as he’s saying this. He tries to rape her and she is fighting back so he injects her with something. I think that’s why I was shown clear syringes with orange tips.

Sarah: Oh my God, this is awful. Do you know what was in the syringes?

Angela: No idea. It is.

Sarah: What else are you being shown?

Angela: She is saying he raped her here and is showing me the bedroom floor again. I’m getting the name James or Kevin. It’s a K or C name.

Sarah: Keenan Vanginkel is the suspect. His full name is Keenan James Vanginkel. He claims to have been going to Texas the night of Morgan’s murder, but was in Colorado working at City Market. Toni revealed this on her blog.

Angela: Yeah, he did it. He totally did it.

Sarah: How does Morgan know Keenan? Are you seeing that?

Angela: I’m being shown him watching her while she’s walking a small dog to a lake. I think he just saw her and became obsessed her. He watched her every move. He was so obsessed with her. This is bad.

Sarah: The authorities in that area, including the coroner and pathologist, reached some unusual conclusions regarding her death. Initially, the pathologist classified it as natural causes before later changing the cause and manner to porphyria and then suicide.

Angela: Nope. All wrong. He killed her. He did it.

Sarah: May I ask how that happened?

Angela: Before and after he sexually assaulted her, he injected her with something. I keep seeing the same syringes that are clear with the orange tips. I am not seeing what was in the bottle that killed her. I don’t know what he injected her with. I keep being shown horses.

Sarah: What happened to those syringes? They were nowhere to be found at the crime scene. Was it just one syringe?

Angela: I think there were 2-3 of them. I think he panicked when he realized he killed her and was stupid and put them somewhere in that house. She’s showing me parts of the ceiling and the wall. Like in a corner of her room.

Sarah: The syringes are in the house? They are still in the house?

Angela: Yeah.

Sarah: Did Morgan use drugs? There are people speculating about this. Some people who claim to be her friends have said she used drugs.

Angela: I’m not seeing that.

Sarah: To be honest, I didn’t think she used them.

Angela: I don’t think she really drank either. I don’t see her smoking pot either. I think she was around people who did those things though. Some of her friends or the people she hung out with were substance abusers.

Sarah: Several items have been missing since her death, including some jewelry and her pajama pants. Do you have any insight into what happened to them?

Angela: Are the pajama pants pink or a pink plaid with like a solid color waist band? They almost look like capris more than full length pajama pants?

Sarah: I don’t know. I never saw them.

Angela: Shes showing me that she went to bed wearing those and what looks to be a spaghetti strap tank top. He took the pajama pants or capris she wore that night. Almost as a trophy. He took some sort of figurine that was sitting on a stand near a lamp. I also see he took a necklace, like a chain and some sort of pendant. Also a pair of thong underwear that I think were in a hamper that were going to be washed.

Sarah: Why was her room in such disarray? Was it because he was rummaging through her belongings? Did he take anything else?

Angela: Yeah. He also wanted to cover his tracks and make it look like she killed herself. He did some homework, but wasn’t as smart as he thought. He did outsmart the police because he is getting away with it.

Sarah: Why was Morgan found wearing a light shirt with a dark bra and jeans? Did Keenan change her clothes?

Angela: Yeah.

Sarah: Is Brooke Harris involved? She was Keenan’s girlfriend at the time.

Angela: Does she have light brown hair and sometimes wears glasses? I’m seeing she was jealous of her, but I don’t see her involved in the actual murder itself other than provoking. He acted alone from what I see.

Sarah: Was her friend Hannah Hurlocker involved at all?

Angela: Is she friends with the girl you just asked me about? I am not seeing that.

Sarah: Yes. So authorities discovered an old prescription of Amitriptyline in her bathroom, left out in the open. They concluded that this was the cause of her death.

Angela: They are so incredibly stupid and being fooled. He went through her bathroom and found it. He purposely laid it out to make it look like she took it.

Sarah: Was the pill bottle empty or was it full?

Angela: I’m only seeing a few pills missing from the bottle. I don’t think she ever took it honestly and she kind of just had it sitting in the cabinet in her bathroom.

Sarah: They found traces of the drug in her system; however, her blood contained a significant amount and the ratio of Amitriptyline to Nortriptyline was higher in her blood. Is she telling you anything or sharing anything with you regarding this?

Angela: I’m seeing he injected her. I think once he realized what he did, he went into her bathroom to try and find anything he could put into her mouth.

Sarah: Near the Ingram residence, it was reported that a woman who operated a horse stable was missing equine Amitriptyline. According to what I heard, the woman who owned the stable filed a report regarding the incident, which took place in late fall or early winter of 2011.

Angela: So that’s why I was being shown horses?

Sarah: Are you really?

Angela: Yes. It makes sense. I think that’s what is possibly in the syringes. I still don’t want to say for sure because I don’t know. I was just being shown horses immediately when you asked me what was in the syringe he injected her with.

Sarah: Did he force her to swallow pills?

Angela: I’m not seeing him force them, but I do see that when she was dying and he was going through her room and after he discovered that prescription he crushed the pills up and put them into her mouth.

Sarah: Was she still alive while he was rummaging through her room?

Angela: Yes, but she was dying. He did say after he injected her to himself something like why won’t you die? He was angry when he originally did it for some reason. You can tell by the look on his face he was on something and his eyes look that way because of the drugs. I think he had drugs on him if I’m being honest.

Sarah: She had Flexeril or Cyclobenzaprine in her system. This was revealed in the autopsy report. There was no trace of this drug in the house.

Angela: I think he had drugs on him. That was one of the drugs. Were they round and white?

Sarah: I have no idea. I wish I knew.

Angela: You should ask your mom.

Sarah: Yes. She’s busy today. I’ll call her tonight. Do you think she would know?

Angela: Your mom? Absolutely.

Sarah: I need to ask you, Angela—do you know if he is still engaging in this behavior or if he has done it before? Can you share what you see or what Morgan is revealing to you?

Angela: He has killed several girls before Morgan and I do see him killing again. Eventually he will get tired though. The last girl he killed is actually stepping forward now and trying to show me what he did to her. She looks Hispanic and has a very distinct butterfly tattoo on her ankle. I keep hearing the names Keenan and Randy and she’s saying they tortured her. She’s showing me and to be honest I don’t want to see this.

Sarah: What else are you being shown?

Angela: Another girl is stepping forward with red hair. She’s saying Keenan picked her up on the side of the road as she was walking home. The car looks green or yellow. I can’t tell. He assaulted her in the car, strangled her, and buried her body in the same area as the other girl with the tattoo. I’m not getting names which makes this more difficult.

Sarah: Will he ever get caught?

Angela: I'm not certain. So far, I haven't seen any evidence of that. There are people he has confided in who are aware of what he did.

Sarah: Why won’t they speak out? Does his mother know? Do you think she is aware of it?

Angela: They fear he will kill them. They know what he’s capable of. His mother is aware, but doesn’t know. She thinks he’s innocent. He’s told friends more than his family. I think they think he’s innocent and are blaming Morgan’s mother. He’s not innocent. He did this.

Sarah: Is there a reason he’s murdering women? Are they from just Colorado? What would be his actual motive for doing this?

Angela: The victims, the girls are very similar to Morgan. He has a type from what I see and they are all very similar. He’s angry because these women would never give him the time of day. I think that’s why he stalks them, assaults them, and kills them.

Sarah: I intend to publish this on my blog eventually. As Americans, we are entitled to freedom of speech yet I have encountered significant resistance since releasing my interviews with Mrs. Ingram. Both Keenan Vanginkel’s family members and various true crime trolls have leveled attacks against me. Consequently, there is a possibility that this may never be published.

Angela: As a psychic medium in today’s world, I think there will be a lot of skepticism about what I see and what I know. Other mediums who possess the same gifts as myself sometimes use them for entertainment purposes. I can’t control what I’m being shown. Spirits will show me or allow me to see what they want me to know so I pass it onto those who can’t see or hear them. If I can help, I’ll help.

Sarah: From the outset of my investigation into this case as an independent journalist, I anticipated encountering resistance, as I firmly believe that Morgan Ingram was a victim of foul play and murder. I approached the interviews with Morgan's mother Toni Ingram and others connected to the case with a degree of uncertainty. I deliberately refrained from reaching out to her stalker, as my intuition strongly indicated his guilt. My support for Toni Ingram has resulted in vilification from a small yet fervent group, who aggressively target anyone expressing an alternative perspective on this case. Nonetheless, I remain steadfast in my belief that Morgan Ingram was, indeed, a victim of murder.

Angela: She was. I don’t know if he will ever get caught or not because I’m not seeing that. At this time you can’t ever lose hope of the truth prevailing.

Sarah: Well, I’m going to wrap this up. I have to go to the grocery store. Thank you so much for your help and your work, Angela. I appreciate you. Thank you for doing this reading with me.

Angela: You’re welcome.

As the circumstances surrounding Morgan Ingram's death grow increasingly suspicious, it is crucial to acknowledge that Keenan Vanginkel has not been charged nor convicted of any wrongdoing and is thus presumed innocent in the court of the law. Keenan Vanginkel was declared innocent in 2012 by local authorities including Garfield County Sheriff Lou Vallario and former detective turned coroner Robert Glassmire. The case was officially closed by Vallario in 2012. I strongly discourage any form of harassment directed at Keenan Vanginkel, his family, friends, or any individuals associated with this case. The pursuit of justice remains unachieved. Will it ever be attained? One can only hope.

I have chills up and down my spine. I have always thought Keenan Vanginkel was guilty, but this pretty much validates it. Thank you for sharing these. RIP Angela.

I have always thought she was murdered and it was the man stalking her who did it.
