I am a huge fan of dry shampoo. I discovered dry shampoo years ago when I received a sample of it through a beauty subscription and have been quite a fan ever since. Recently, one of the best hair brands, IGK introduced an entire collection of dry shampoos that cater to not only hair type, but actual cleanse level, scalp type and powder percentage. Amazing right?

The first one is the Jet Lag Invisible Dry Shampoo. This particular dry shampoo is perfect for those of you with sensitive scalps. Providing a lightweight cleanse, this amazing IGK addition contains volcanic ash which works to both cleanse and purify your hair as well as, ginger root extract to soften and add shine. This dry shampoo is also infused with mango fruit extract to smooth.
The second one is the Direct Flight Multi-Tasking Dry Shampoo which is incredible for those of you with normal scalps. As this dry shampoo contains turmeric and charcoal powder to lift dirt and buildup, it also works while absorbing oil and sweat. And the medium cleanse is something to truly appreciate.
The last one from the collection is the First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo which is amazing for oily scalps and for a deep cleanse. Infused with charcoal powder to lift dirt and buildup while absorbing oil and sweat, this dry shampoo also contains white tea powder to soothe and strengthen the scalp and the hair follicles.

The IGK Dry Shampoo Collection is available now at Sephora and retails for $27 per bottle. Not only are these incredibly effective, they smell amazing. And one thing is certain, I am going to make sure my bag is stocked up with these.

DIY: Sarah's Dry Shampoo

Dry Shampoo isn't something I see on a daily basis. In fact, I am unsure it exists. I am sure the concept has been looked at and examined thoroughly. Imagine not having to use water and using a product that will soak up the oils in your hair without stripping away anything. Recently, I decided to create my very own dry shampoo using only a few ingredients.

For my dry shampoo, you will need a half of cup of cornstarch. Preferably something organic. You will also need a quarter cup of baking soda. You will also need a tablespoon of clay (preferably bentonite clay), a tablespoon of flour (rice flour works fine) and a tablespoon of collagen powder.

In addition to these ingredients, you are going to want to add five teaspoons of your favorite fragrance oil to the shampoo. Why? To make it smell amazing, of course.

Combine all ingredients. Make sure all ingredients are blended accordingly and complete diluted into the container of choice. Then, apply the dry shampoo lightly to your hair, starting the top where your hair tends to be the oiliest.

This is literally the perfect, pick me up for your hair and a great refresher for those days you simply don't want to wash your hair.
