Your story is only beginning

One bad chapter in your life doesn't mean your story is over. It means your story has character, meaning, and is only beginning. There will be seconds, minutes, moments, hours, and even days you will wake up and endure one of your worst chapters.

This.Is.Life.

Life is a book of endless experiences that range from a pristine utopia to a sadistic nightmare. And only you can dictate your life. So unless those people who belittle you for whatever reason are willing to read your entire book, they cannot judge you nor define you. Because in the end, those who live in glass houses should not throw stones, as those people tend to blame you for their own foibles and shortcomings which only define them.

There will be people who use you, there will be people who abuse you, and there will be people who lose you. You will be betrayed, you will be lied to, you will be manipulated, and you will be left behind. There will be people who love you, hate you, or simply 'nothing' you. And speaking of hate, it is a well known fact that there are people in this world who will hate you. In fact, you will meet several in your life. And sometimes those who hate you, will hate you because of the way other people love you. Remember, you have absolutely nothing to prove. Let them have an opinion of you because at the end of the day, what others think of you is none of your business.

And speaking of business, you cannot undermine a human's natural right to speak. Whether good or bad, you cannot control what another human being says or how another human being reacts, but you can; however, choose how you want to respond to them. Remember, you are in charge. If you are thinking negatively, you are attracting negative. If you are thinking prosperity, you are attracting happiness and security. Eventually all of those wonderful thoughts will turn into greatness and incredible things will manifest as a result.

You have so much love within your soul, give some to yourself before you give any of it to someone else. The answer is not within the solution, as the solution is never to be cold and bitter let alone ruthless and oafish. And separating right from wrong, as well as, dissecting wrong from right is relatively chasmic and will only make you feel miserable. Ruination (and rumination) will only bring you down, especially if you overthink yourself into an oblivious brain freeze. The solution is simple: to forgive and to love deeper. To love more profoundly.

My life is a paradox. My life is a journey--not a race. Your life is a journey--not a race. Everything and everyone you have loved, are currently loving and will love in the future--you may lose eventually. So, the best thing you can do is trust your journey, love the life you live and live the life you love. It is not only the best thing you can do, it is the only thing you can do.

These are my thoughts for today. Now I must go to work. Have a wonderful day!

Anniversary party + update on my life

Me tonight.
Tonight is a very special night for my boss as he celebrates his anniversary married to his lovely wife of 30 years. He is having an anniversary party tonight, which is quite exciting. I have been invited so I am going to go. As many of you are aware, I have been dating Sumit for almost a year now. Our anniversary is coming up in a couple days (Tuesday, May 28th) which will mark one year. And Sumit, if you are reading this - I love you.

As for my life, I started attending gemstone therapy sessions once a week. I love gemstone therapy because it promotes physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing. After one session I felt balanced, more calm and relaxed; however, after going for several weeks I really notice a change. The stress I felt for weeks has been completely alleviated and I feel incredibly calm as a result.

In ancient history, gemstones had a lot of great healing powers. Some of the mummies in ancient Egypt were buried with Quartz. Not only were they used as a sign of luck, but they were used to heal a human's mind, body, soul, and spirit. This was a very holistic way to relieve any kind of pain and eliminate negative energy from the body by promoting positive harmony and eliminating stress. As a result, you will feel less mad, less sad and will enjoy life to the fullest. I recommend this to virtually everyone. It truly does work and after one session you will definitely feel more balanced and calm.

A lot of you have asked me to stop talking about Morgan Ingram and start talking more about other subjects. My blog is filled with a variety of subjects. Because I support Toni Ingram, I am misinterpreted as one who is "crazy" and "delusional" as well as, one who is a horrible writer, who is being paid by Toni Ingram (yawn) yet you internet stalkers come to my blog relentlessly and read what I have to say. Some of you may disagree with me, but at the end of the day, you come to my blog for a reason. On a serious note, I will be talking about more subjects in the near future including true crime topics.

On a softer note, tonight I am wearing a green bandage dress courtesy of Hot Miami Styles. My jewelry is from Totaram. I did my usual skin care regimen which consists of a hydrating cleanser, an exfoliator, a serum and a moisturizer. Right now I am really loving the Chuda Exfoliating Cleanser, the La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Cream and the EMK Beverly Hills Bloom Toner. I am sure I am leaving out others, but will get to those in a future blog post.

For my makeup tonight, I applied the Japonesque Velvet Touch Primer followed by the Jeffree Star Magic Concealer in the shade in C12.  Then, I applied the Jane Iredale Liquid Minerals A Foundation in the shade Satin followed by the Estee Lauder Set. Blur. Finish Perfecting Pressed Powder in Translucent. I contoured my face using the Mehron Illusion Palette by Mimi Choi. I never use this usually for contouring, but surprisingly love it.

On my eyes, I used the Eyeko 'I Do' Liquid Eyeliner followed the Giorgio Armani Beauty Liquid Eye Tint in the shades 37 Scarab and 25 Midnight Cruise. To highlight I used Ellis Faas Lights in the shade E302. For my brows, I used the Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil in the shade 5. And for my lashes, I used several coats of the Benefit Cosmetics BADgal BANG! Voluminizing Mascara

To finish my makeup look, I used the Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint in the shade Namaste. I topped my lips with Jeffree Star Cosmetics Lip Ammo in Galaxy Gold. To complete the entire look, I sprayed MAC Prep + Prime Fix+

For my hair, I shampooed using the Pai-Shau Replenishing Hair Cleanser and conditioned using the Paul Mitchell MarulaOil Rare Oil Replenishing Conditioner. Then, I did a full blow-out using the T3 Featherweight Compact Dryer and EcoTools Ultimate Air Dryer Hair Brush. Before drying, I applied the Nexxus Promend. After drying, I applied the Matrix Biolage Hair Gelee

Tonight I am surprising my boss and his wife with a 28 Can Rolling Picnic Camping Cooler. It is one of the greatest gifts you can give anyone, especially those who travel often. Road tripping will become much more savvy and fun with one of these. My first gift choice was a drone, but then I realized he said they had quite a few of them.

I am sure I can write more, but then again I would be here for hours and I have to be there in several minutes. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day, as I hope you are all having an amazing weekend.

Happy Earth Day 2019

Earth Day is literally one of my favorite holidays to date. I know what you are thinking, as it is evidently not your traditional holiday. As our mother earth is a demigoddess who harbors life in the most tried and truest form and the third largest planet from the sun, I am proud to call this planet my home.

The sun (a male demigod) and moon (another male demigod) both interact with the earth, including earth's gravity as they are the most rustic satellites to date. The earth revolves around the sun every 365 days. Having formed almost 5 billion years ago, biodiversity has been heavily embraced in more ways than one, as the earth continues to evolve. Although the world's population is unknown, it's been estimated that almost 7.7 billion people live on earth, with a new one being born every second. You can check out this fact hereBut with life, death always follows. Although there isn't an accurate detection of how many people have died total in the world, it is a fact that someone dies every second. You can read this fact here

But what about ecosystem and biosphere we depend on-to live? And I am not referring to just the atmosphere either. I am talking about the lithosphere, the geosphere, and the hydrosphere also. Additionally we need much more to survive. And speaking of survival, what about the natural resources we need for survival? You know-water, land, sunlight, vegetation and food?

Although I could probably write an entire dissertation on the subject, I will refrain from boring you with that right now as this post is strictly about earth day. Expect a few in the feature though. Without life there would be no love. Without love there would be no life. Without life there would be no food. Without food there would be no life. Without life there would be no light. Without light there would be no life. I love my land as my land loves me. I love the earth, which is why I choose to celebrate earth day today.

Every earth day I love to plant something to show respect for my mother earth. Today is no exception to the rule, as I am doing just that. Additionally, I went to work wearing only eco-friendly beauty products and clothing today. Before and after work, I showered using only eco-friendly beauty essentials. Then, I decided to make an amazing plant-based, vegan smoothie with fruits and herbs I personally grew. Today, I ate completely fruitarian to show respect. Now, I am going to do some gardening to celebrate today.

I hope you are all having a wonderful day. Happy Earth Day!

Only 10 days until Christmas

Hello everyone. I hope you are having a wonderful day. You know, it dawned on me that it is December 15th today. I have to admit, it is so hard to believe it is December. It seems like only yesterday we walked into Winter, although it is technically not Winter yet as Winter is only four days before Christmas. But to think it is already December. Christmas is only in 10 days. That is only one week and three days away. And if you do the math, you will realize that the New Year is two weeks and two days away.

On a much different note, a lot has been going on in my life and needless to say, I am very happy. As you are aware, I am dating a man from India. His name is Sumit. He is the same guy that I mentioned previously here on the blog in Spring, earlier this year. We have a strong connection that is a bit complex to explain in context, but easier to say in words. Does that make sense? Although I must admit, I could probably write quite a few epic love stories inspired by him. With that said, as our love continues to grow so does our connection, our chemistry, our compatibility and our communication.

It is a very cold yet gloomy day here in Idaho today. As I have been working from 9 am until 5 pm everyday, I feel extremely tired on the weekends. As much as I contemplated going to the gym today, I decided to stay home and veg out. Right now I think I may export a few articles I've written in the past for now defunct publications (e.g. Yahoo! Voices, Examiner, etc.) and move them here to the blog. I know this would be a big project and I couldn't do it all today, as I have flushed out thousands of articles throughout the years.

I'm also thinking for dinner I want to make homemade pizza. I've ordered pizza and I find that no pizza places around here compare to my homemade Margherita. I make everything from the sauce to the actual dough completely from scratch. I've made homemade cheese in the past, but that is probably the only thing that isn't homemade I would put on it tonight. At least at the moment. Buffalo Mozzarella is everything.

When I was in Italy I remember how the older Italian ladies would make their sauce. They would crush up tomatoes straight from the vine, add herbs and place them on picnic tables in the hot sun for a day just to create their own paste. Utilizing this paste as a foundation, they would place multiple things (including more tomatoes) into a pot and cook the sauce all day long for that classic authentic flavor. I think I will save this for a separate blog post.

Ok, so today I took the selfie I am sharing. I took it about an hour ago, as I attended my company Christmas party. Shortly before, I had to do some shopping, as I didn't have the chance to. I never know what to get during gift exchanges so I went with a practical gift anyone can use - a portable charger. I like the one from Mophie because it's convenient and lasts a long time. I have one in black and one in white and love taking them everywhere, especially when I travel.

And speaking of practical, I decided that since it is still technically Fall, I wanted to do an orange glam look that was both practical and wearable. The dress (although you cannot see) it is from Hot Miami Styles

For my makeup today, I used the following products: Giorgio Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation in the shade 4.5, Giorgio Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Compact in the shade 4.5, OFRA Cosmetics Pro Contouring Cream PaletteBenefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil in the shade 5, Eyeko Sport Waterproof Eyeliner, Cle de Peau Beaute Cream Eyeshadow in the shade 309, Shu Uemura Eyeshadow in M Orange 250, Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lash Mascara in the shade Black, and Ellis Faas Hot Lips in the shade L409.

I think I want to eat now. I am hungry. Time to cook. Have a wonderful day!

I spent the entire day yesterday at Yellowstone

I truly apologize for not keeping you as updated as I should be. Life does get busy, however; in the end, I should always include you in my life. So, as I am off for a few days from work, I decided to take a trip to Yellowstone National Park yesterday.

I entered the park via West Yellowstone, where they held their "crazy day" event which was manifested with great deals on souvenirs, as well as, food and other fun. I also managed to run into friends and acquaintances when walking through the areas. Despite being relatively scorching hot, I had a great time.

I didn't see everything (which is truly impossible for just a one-day-trip), but managed to see the things that I wanted to see for quite a while including the Steamboat Geyser, the largest active geyser in the world and at Yellowstone. I am getting a new laptop, so I will post pictures soon. In the mean time, I hope you are doing great and I promise that I will do my best to blog more.

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend and day.
