10 accomplishments Donald Trump has made as president of America

America—the land of the free and the home of the brave. With a population of almost 328 million people, America is also the great melting pot of the world. It is also my home. A home that is very near and dear to my heart. 

For many years, I consciously avoided delving too deeply into politics, as I considered myself an Independent with a leaning towards the liberal or left side of the spectrum. I supported Barack Obama in both 2008 and 2012, and held the belief that individuals possessed free will. However, my perspective started to shift a few years ago when I realized that I had been examining my views in a somewhat one-dimensional manner. Despite encountering propaganda and encountering radicals attempting to sway my opinion, it was ultimately the results and outcomes that influenced me. The truth is, most politicians have a history of lying or will only tell you what you want to hear.

To me, actions speak much louder than words and results speak much louder than actions. After weighing both the pros and cons of the candidates in 2015 through 2016, I realized that I wanted to vote for Donald J. Trump and truly saw him as president of the United States. Why? Because I was ultimately impressed with his vision for America and the American people. The promises Trump made to make America great again really had me interested.

But the real question remains; however, did he really improve America? And if so, how? 

1. President Trump has implemented and executed a fantastic, strong job reform plan for the citizens of America. He has established millions of jobs since becoming president of the United States. Because of him, the unemployment rate is at its lowest and the employment rate is at its highest. 

2. When it comes to women, president Trump has also managed to establish jobs for women. As a woman, it can be very tough to get hired over a man simply because men are dubbed alpha and superior. Because of our president's powerful job reform, women's unemployment is the lowest it has ever been. 

3. As an Iranian-American woman living here in the land of the free and the home of the brave, I must say that I am modestly relieved and overjoyed to know that president Trump voluntarily repudiated and withdrew from the JCPOA Iran nuclear deal which could have potentially lead to a cataclysmic massacre and holocaust. 

4. Did you know that the United States is a net natural gas exporter for the first time in six decades? The last time the United States was a net natural gas exporter was in the mid-to-late 50's. This is because of president Trump. 

5. President Trump has been enforcing immigration laws since his first term. By protecting our country's borders, he has improved the screening and vetting of immigrants. As a result, the crime rate has dramatically decreased. As our first lady Melania Trump is an immigrant, I believe everyone has the right to come to the United States as long as they do it legally.

6. When it comes to healthcare, president Trump has no filter and because of this, he has taken the appropriate action to better the healthcare system. How? By building a strong healthcare amelioration by making healthcare affordable to everyone. By offering both a short-term and long-term duration, he is making healthcare accessible to every American who needs it. 

7. Since taking the highest office as head of state and head of our government, president Trump has reduced high-dose opioid usage. In fact, in his first year alone, he reduced this ongoing problematic issue by 20%. 

8. President Trump has not only levied tariffs on foreign steel and aluminum, but he also imposed them to protect the national security of America. This is quite an accomplishment, as this has been a problem which was neglected for years by the last 5 presidents. 

9. Additionally president Trump has improved both production and trade. Because of our president, oil production has recently reached the highest it has ever been. As a result, coal exports increased over 60%. Has any other president actually accomplished this? No.

10. In my opinion, President Trump's implementation of a powerful tax cut reform was instrumental in recovering hundreds of billions of dollars. Furthermore, his creation of a distinctive tax bill for small business owners is expected to significantly reduce marginal taxes. This move aims to provide workers with the incentives and benefits they rightfully deserve.

I can add more accomplishments to this list, but right now these are the 10 achievements which have impressed me most. Currently, I identify as Independent, but leaning towards the conservative or republican side of the political spectrum. 

Will I vote for Donald Trump in 2020? Based on his current accomplishments—I will. President Trump has proved why he is president with these accomplishments by simply making America great again.
