Murder of Hae Min Lee: What Happened?

Hae Min Lee
I have been receiving quite a few messages from many of you asking what I think in regards to the death of Hae Min Lee. At the time I received the messages from many of you regarding this particular case, I wasn't really familiar with it. Like at all. Then, I started really digging into it.

To give you kind of a backstory about Hae Min Lee and what happened to her - Hae Min Lee was an 18 year old South Korean American from Baltimore, Maryland who was found dead on Tuesday, February 9, 1999. As the death was caused to be by strangulation, Min Lee disappeared almost a month earlier on Wednesday, January 13, 1999. As a student of Woodland Hills high school.

According to an article published in the New York Times earlier this year, physical evidence collected in 1999 was not even tested during the initial trial. Additionally, Min Lee's rape kit which was administered was not properly examined. And according to an article published in 2014 by the Business Insider, the only thing that was discussed as being evidence during that time were body hairs found on Hae Min Lee which were clearly not hers. With evidence beyond a reasonable doubt, surely there should have been a thorough examination of this. Why on earth was the hair never tested for DNA evidence?

In addition to what seems to be a relatively botched investigation, I dug deeper into the realm and discovered that Syed's albi, Asia McClain (or Asia McClain Chapman) claims to have been talking with Adnan during the same hours he allegedly attacked Hae Min Lee in the Best Buy parking lot. McClain maintains this fact still until this day and has even published a book regarding this, but her testimony was ignored. Why? Because Syed's witness had two?

Adnan Syed and Hae Min Lee with a group of friends.

As baffling as this crime is, when I originally investigated this I didn't know what to think, as I had multiple theories as to what happened. Could Adnan Syed have really killed Hae Min Lee himself? Did Adnan Syed have help from another third party to kill Hae Min Lee? Did another third party close to Adnan Syed kill Hae Min Lee? Did one of Hae Min Lee's former boyfriends actually kill her? Did some serial stalker/killer from the area randomly choose Hae Min Lee as his next victim and kill her? Did the man (which many refer to as "Mr. S") who found Hae Min Lee actually the man who kill her?

I just knew that I wanted to know more because it was bothering not knowing what happened so I reached out to two psychic mediums I trust regarding the death of Hae Min Lee. These two psychics also confirmed that it was not Adnan Syed, but the same man that tried to report it as being Adnan Syed who committed the crime. They went on to say there was evidence that was overlooked and still some evidence that exists which proves this other person killed her. They described this person as being a former friend of Syed's who wants others to believe he killed her.

After receiving a description from both psychics, I believe they are both referring to Jay Wilds, Syed's former friend who was said to have originally reported the crime and claimed to have helped bury the body. But, did he actually kill Hae Min Lee? What would be his motive for doing so? And if so, why is he enmeshing himself into this?

Others have speculated other people, but none of those people knew Syed personally nor did they report the crime as being Syed. And lets separate fact from fiction, Wilds story has been extremely inconsistent. Lets not forget that Adnan's Syed attorney Rabia Chaudry said Wilds presented a minimum of 7 different stories with many more that possessed various narratives. Wilds also had witnesses including Jennifer Pusateri and woman identified as "Cathy" or also goes by the name "Christy", with Jenn presenting a story that was much different than the original story Jay Wilds shared.

Jay Wilds takes the stand in 2000.
According to an article published on PopDust in May of 2015, Jay Wilds testimony has received mixed reviews with many of them questioning why Syed would reach out to him personally asking him to bury Min Lee's body when the two were not friends anymore. But did Jay Wilds really kill Hae Min Lee and if so, what would be his motivation?

So, what do I think happened?

I think Hae Min Lee was stalked, both physically and sexually assault and murdered in one of the most horrific ways by a man who was not only obsessed with her, but feared he would get in trouble for the crime.

Do I think Adnan Syed is guilty? According to an article published in the Baltimore Sun, multiple items were tested for DNA evidence. After testing various items for DNA in 2018, none of the items tested positive for Adnan Syed's DNA (which proves he did not kill her) and the only clear explanation is the fact he is innocent and did not kill Hae Min Lee.

So, do I believe Adnan Syed killed Hae Min Lee? No. I believe he is innocent. I believe the actual perpetrator who committed the crime feared it would link back to him, so he made it look like Syed was the one who did it. I also believe this person was a friend of Syed's at one point.

It is easy for the perpetrator to throw Adnan Syed under the bus simply because they knew him and the kind of decorum he exuded. The perpetrator also knew Syed burned bridges with Hae Min Lee's parents as it has been theorized the two relentlessly broke up during a big part of their relationship. I believe the person who murdered Hae Min Lee is a habitual yet compulsive liar who has more holes in their stories than the finest cheese in Lucerne. I also believe this person was a personal friend or was once a friend of Syed's to know the best way to frame him for the crime, as this individual presented many misleading statements with the intent to cover up his own indiscretions. But the big question everyone has is - who is it?
Adnan Syed and Hae Min Lee.

So, who do I think may have murdered her? Jay Wilds. Do I think he had help? It is very possible. Perhaps his alibi Jennifer Pusateri helped him clean up the crime scene the best she could or perhaps he did this alone, using Pusateri's alleged hatred of Min Lee as leverage. And in a frantic panic, I think he wanted to safeguard his guilt by blaming it on Syed because he was scared and knew Hae Min Lee's parents would believe and entertain the idea Syed killed their daughter simply because he knew they disliked him.

Jay Wilds stories are filled with many one-sided contradictions that do not add up and definitely do not epitomize any truth at all here. His phone records negate the possibility and the premise which proves he is more than just a witness to the said crime. One thing I noticed most (perhaps the biggest red flag) was when Wilds claimed Syed told him he committed the crime and then he denied being a friend Syed's before saying they were not close. In 1999 he admits they are casual acquaintances and not friends. If a person is not a friend let alone close to them, why would that person tell them they killed their ex girlfriend or planned on killing their ex girlfriend shortly before asking the said person to bury the body? This makes no sense and I cannot be the only one who thinks so.

Lets also not forget how Wilds said he had a long conversation with Syed regarding Syed's alleged plan to kill Min Lee. If you intend to murder someone, how can you discuss your plan in an 18 second phone call? Yes, this was revealed by Rabia Chaudry, Syed's attorney when phone records surfaced which prove the call only lasted 18 seconds. In addition to denying they are friends (which Wilds originally did) he is now implicating Syed as the perpetrator, saying Syed called him and they planned the murder during an 18 second time frame. This makes no sense.

Another red flag were the time frames of the stories themselves. Wilds and his key witness Jenn Pusateri claim they stopped by a young woman's house by the name of Stephanie McPherson. McPherson was a friend of both at the time. They claimed they both stopped by her house around 8:30 PM EST; however, she was at a basketball game playing until 10:30 PM EST. How is it possible? I listened to the Undisclosed Season 1, Episode 3: Jay's Day which reveals these vital facts. You can read the transcripts of his many cunningly concerted narratives here. The Undisclosed podcast is put together amazingly and really gives a fantastic explanation on this entire case.

Adnan Syed in 2017.
Lets not forget both Jay Wilds and Jennifer Pusteri present two different stories within the same story, the night of Hae Min Lee's disappearance, with Pusteri stating they went to a party shortly before going to "Cathy's" (whose real name is actually Christy) house. Wilds, of course, went with another angle and stated they went right home. This is just one of many stories that contradict themselves and at least ten of them which are conspicuously signalling an artifice of a very guilty person.

Did Jay Wilds kill Hae Min Lee? Perhaps yes and based on my own independent research of this case, I believe he is much more guilty than Adnan Syed, the man inculpated and helped get convicted of a crime, a crime I believe did not commit.

As Syed Adnan spends his life behind bars in a prison cell, all I can think about is justice and how unfair this is. Imagine being portrayed as guilty when you are completely innocent. Imagine living in a country where you are innocent until proven guilty, only for you to be found guilty when the evidence points other wise. Will justice ever happen? Is justice meant to happen?  Perhaps not, but one can only hope something manifests which exposes the truth.

Gaming YouTuber Etika found dead

RIP Etika
(May 1990-June 2019)
It is official, Desmond Amofa (also known as Etika) has been found dead. The NYPD took to Twitter to make the sad announcement a little bit ago to share the news. I really wanted all of the speculation I had regarding his disappearance to just be nothing more than speculation, but today it became a tragic reality.

And after watching his video, I am 100% certain he took his own life. This is quite possibly one of the most tragic deaths of 2019 simply because when he was filming, no one could have possibly known nor imagined the battle he was fighting.

In the end, he lost his battle.

Gaming YouTuber Etika is Missing

For those of you that do not know, 29 year old gaming YouTuber Etika has been missing since Wednesday, June 19, 2019. He uploaded a video on the same day around 12 am (which was around 10 pm my time here in Idaho) that was titled "I'm Sorry". Gamer Rob Breslau (also known as Slasher on Twitter) uploaded an excerpt of the original video here in tweet he posted a few days ago shortly after Etika's original video was published onto YouTube.

The original video has been flagged and has been removed; however, you can see the video on various platforms. YouTube continues to remove the video, but the video is being relentlessly uploaded to the platform by fans and friends who share deep concern for the YouTube star.

After watching the video, I truly believe he has committed suicide. As much as I don't want to entertain this theory, there was something about his eyes and what he said that made me believe he was going to do something to end his life.

For instance, he said, "I was mentally troubled and far too stone headed to admit it, far too stubborn to face it and far too scared to deal with it." He then said, "as far as I know, there is no life after death. My time ends now, but there is a way for me too. I'll send you all as many blessings as I can from the other side."

I've had a friend end her life who used the same language, especially the terms "other side" which makes me believe that he did, in fact, end his own life. He talked about the other side a lot towards the end of the video. And he is mysteriously missing hence why I believe he lost his battle. As he was modestly active on social media, it isn't like him to just go and make this kind of video and end up missing for days after with no explanation.

I literally fear the worst.

It is currently Saturday night here, early Sunday morning. If you know about Etika's whereabouts, please contact the local authorities immediately.

The TRUTH about Jaclyn Hill lipsticks

Jaclyn Hill's lipstick from Jaclyn Cosmetics.
Have you ever been so excited about something only to be disappointed once you received it? Not only was I wholeheartedly excited to try the new Jaclyn Hill lipsticks from Jaclyn Cosmetics, as I absolutely adore Jaclyn Hill, but wanted to support her brand as her products were some of the most anticipated makeup products to launch this year. Plus, the packaging is amazing. Especially for the $18 price point. But, what is the real truth about Jaclyn Hill's lipstick?

Her lipstick is terrible.

First and foremost, the formula is awful. In my many years of using lipstick, I have never used a lipstick that both crystallized and oxidized on my lips. This was so uncomfortable on my lips, I felt like I was immediately using a defective product that was sitting in a box on a shelf for years.

Only one of the lipsticks had weird fibers and debri on it. Almost reminded me of lint from an old clothing dryer. I have no idea why she would release these lipsticks and still extremely baffled as to why she would. Two of the other ones had weird discoloration forming at the base. I want to guess mold. Only one of them had nothing wrong with it.

Another thing that I found to be modestly revolting was the smell of these. The scent of this lipstick just reminds me of old lipstick sitting on a shelf in an abandoned lab. I felt like I was using a lip product sitting on a shelf for years. I don't like the smell of old lipstick and would never want to put anything on my lips that smelled like it.

The only good things that I have to say about this lipstick is the shade range. I love the nude concept, as I love wearing nude and pink shades more so than reds and plums, etc. The packaging is also bank and really gives the lipstick a much higher quality than what it is really worth.

I will still continue to support Jaclyn Hill and I am hoping that she fixes this problem. Based on reading other reviews, I am not the only one who has had this experience. As much as I want to recommend these lipsticks, I simply cannot. Perhaps she needs to pull every single lipstick she has and restart from scratch. And if the manufacturer doesn't fix this problematic issue, I would go with another manufacturer. I believe this wasn't her fault, but more so the lab's fault and I hoping for a positive resolve in a near future. With that said, I would purchase these again only if the formula was changed.

Playing Zombie Mode on PUBG Mobile

I really love playing PUBG Mobile. And recently, I have been really enjoying the zombie mode inspired by Resident Evil. Currently, there are two Evo modes available in PUBG Mobile. The classic mode is Survive Til Dawn which was the original zombie mode for PUBG. The newest addition is Darkest Night.

As both can be fun, I truly love Survive Til Dawn. This is what I am playing at the moment. My record is 100 zombie kills although I am sure I can do better. Killing players is also fun in this mode.

My current guns are the UMP9 (or Heckler and Koch UMP) and the AKM, which I am using in this particular match. And as you can see I am out of bullets for my AKM, which requires caliber 7.62 mm. Do you think the combat knife will save me? One thing is certain, the UMP9 is one of the most underrated guns to exist. At least, in my opinion.

Tonight, I have a squad made up of players GrimCode, JayThePlumber, UrJustPractice and myself - Golpari. UrJustPractice died early on and GrimCode eventually lost to zombies. JayThePlumber is still alive, but seems to be quite a few meters away. Hopefully I can win this one, whether with this squad member or solo.

If you haven't played PUBG, you truly need to. It's fun and takes you on quite a journey. Definitely one of the best games I have ever played on my phone.

National Veggie Burger Day 2019

Thanks to the power of plants, veggie burgers have been made possible to consume on a regular basis. What started as an idea turned into reality for Amy's Kitchen, when the world renowned vegetarian brand started "National Veggie Burger Day" back in 2017. Veggie burgers have such an incredible impact on the environment and much healthier than their carnivore counterparts.

According to Cowspiracy, growing crops to feed animals killed for food not only consumes almost 60% of water in the United States, but contaminates the water also. Additionally one hamburger alone requires almost 700 gallons of water to produce.

And according to an article published from the book Water Resources and Industry in 2013 on Science Direct, animal agriculture is responsible for up to 33% of fresh water consumption. As 70% of the planet is made up of water, only 3% is fresh.

So the real question remains, is it possible to enjoy a plant-based rendition of this carnivore classic? Absolutely. I think the pictures I've shared, of the veggie burgers I've made speak for themselves.

To celebrate today, I ask and encourage all of you to eat and enjoy a veggie burger. From my house to your house - Happy National Veggie Burger Day!

Rajma Chole Masala + Chapati Wrap

So, tonight for dinner I decided to make a unique Indian dish which consists of an epic fusion of the classic Rajma (a simple curry primarily made up of kidney beans) and Chole (a chickpea curry). I garnished this dish with white onion and cilantro. In India, you will notice onion is paired with a lot of dishes. Indian utilizes onion more so than lettuce in a salad substitute.

And what better way to pair this dish than with a sun-dried tomato basil bisque Chapati wrap. Chapatis are a cult-classic staple in India and remain to be one of the most popular flat breads in the country. Of course adding butter is a must, as butter not only makes the bread shine, but taste even better.

I don't know what it is, but it seems like I always find happiness in the kitchen. I don't eat out much anymore, as I have garnered a love and appreciation for my own cooking. And lets face it, when it comes to food, there is simply no place like home.
