Merry Christmas 2020

Merry Christmas 2020

As the snow gently falls outside, I find myself filled with warmth and gratitude this Christmas. This year, I’m blessed to be spending the holiday with my family, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. It’s a time to reflect on the importance of family, friends, and loved ones, and I couldn’t be more thankful for those who are close to my heart.

One of the most touching moments of this Christmas is my mom and stepdad’s incredible journey to be with me. She and my stepdad traveled for hours through a snowstorm, braving the elements just to share this special day with me. Her dedication and love remind me of the true spirit of the season. It’s moments like these that make Christmas so meaningful.

This year, my family has grown a little larger with the recent adoption of two adorable cats. Trump, my playful yet introverted tabby, and Sephora, my sweet and social diluted calico. Sephora looks so much like Murphy. They’ve brought so much joy and laughter into my home, and I can’t help, but smile every time I see them play under the twinkling lights of my Christmas tree.

Speaking of the tree, decorating it is one of my favorite holiday traditions. There’s something magical about hanging ornaments, stringing lights, and placing the star on top. Although, because of the size of my tree, I can’t seem to fit a star on top of it. Each decoration tells a story, and as I look at my beautifully adorned tree, I’m reminded of all the love that surrounds me during this season.

Of course, no Christmas celebration would be complete without delicious food. I have a special fondness for eggnog, which has become a staple in holiday festivities. Sipping on this creamy delight while listening to my favorite Christmas music fills the air with joy and nostalgia. The melodies of the season create a backdrop of warmth and happiness that resonates with everyone around.

Christmas Day 2020

Christmas is a time of beauty, both in the decorations and in the spirit of giving and togetherness. As I reflect on this holiday season, I’m reminded of how lucky I am to have family, friends, and companions by my side. The love we share makes every moment special and I cherish these times more than words can express.

As we gather around the table, share laughter, and create new memories, I hope you all find the same joy and warmth this Christmas as I have. May your hearts be filled with love and may you cherish the time spent with those who matter most. Merry Christmas 2020!
