Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture

Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture
Introduced in 2008 by Juicy Couture, this fruity floral fragrance proves why it is one of the best selling perfumes of all time. Viva La Juicy is infused with just the right amount of notes to give this acquired scent the recognition it needs. But the main question is: what do I think about this fragrance?

PROS

When I first smell Viva La Juicy, I can definitely smell a warm note. It reminds me of vanilla yet cocoa with a hint of praline, sugar, and caramel. The gourmand scents are evident, but not like some of their other fragrances. The next notes I detect are more fruity than anything else. A combination of berries. I can smell a hint of blueberry yet a hint of blackberry. As I continue smelling this amazing fragrance, I can pick up quite a few floral notes which are modestly faint, but hold the fragrance together. I can definitely smell honeysuckle followed by gardenia.

I can detect a little bit of citrus, but it's very mild. I can pick up on a few other floral notes. I am not sure what they are, but I am guessing a fusion of amber and jasmine. I can also smell somewhat of a woody note. I am going guess sandalwood; however, I could be wrong. In all actuality, this acquired smell is one of the best smells I have discovered yet.

The bottle includes the Juicy Couture label which is very classy yet stylish. It is accented with a bright pink/fuchsia bow which makes it cute. It is also eye catching and when you are done with the fragrance, you could spray it with some glitter blast and it would make an excellent bedroom accessory (just an idea).

Back to this fragrance. I have to say, one thing that was very evident was how long this perfume lasted. After working an 8 hour day, I noticed that I could still smell this fragrance on me. The scent life and longevity is quite decent which I truly enjoy. I've tried so many fragrances and you wouldn't believe how many perfumes smell amazing, but do not last long.

The sillage is not overpowering, which is nice. It's enough to get compliments more than anything. And a little goes a very long way.

CONS

If you are into musky scents or prefer powdery, aromatic, woody, aldehydic, spicy, or even leather notes you are not going to like this fragrance. If you are into fresh or clean fragrances that possess more earthy notes that are more animalistic or smoky, I don't see you finding this fragrance appealing.

If you are looking for an extremely sweet fruity fragrance or something that morphs tropical and citrus into the blend, I don't think you may find Viva La Juicy interesting.
