Fenty Beauty introduces Holiday 2019 The Tinsel $how Collection

I have always been a fan of Rihanna's music. She's one of those artists who is very unique. When you hear her music, you know it is her and not another artist. And as much as I love Please Don't Stop The Music, the song Love On The Brain is truly one of my favorite tunes by her. With that being said, I am extremely proud of what she is doing in the beauty industry. What started as an idea became a reality for the world-class superstar when she started Fenty Beauty.

As a world-renowned beauty brand, Fenty Beauty by Rihanna has officially came out with their newest, latest and greatest holiday collection The Tinsel $how Collection, which features an array of covetable new shades that are destined to bring more love this holiday season.

For this particular collection, Fenty Beauty will offer the Glossy Posse Mini Gloss Bomb Collection which consists of five unique Gloss Bomb shades. These shades include: Fu$$y (a stunning dusty pink shimmer), Pretty Please (a fabulous fuchsia shimmer), Hot Chocolit (a beautiful brown shimmer), Confetti (an outstanding iridescent opal shimmer), and Cheeki (a ravishing red/orange shimmer) which make the perfect gift for virtually every lip gloss lover in your life. And for $42, this is a real steal this holiday season.

And if the holidays couldn't get any better, they are about to with the new Fenty Beauty Mini Body Lava Body Luminizer in the shade Who Needs Clothes?! which is a gorgeous rose gold shimmer in Travel Size. Not only will this make the best stocking stuffer for every beauty enthusiast on earth, but it is the perfect pick-me-up when traveling this holiday season. And for $25, this looks amazing on every skin tone it touches.

Additionally as part of The Tinsel $how Collection this holiday season, Fenty Beauty is also offering the Lil Stunna Mini Longwear Fluid Lip Color in the shade Underdawg. As a beautiful burgundy (which is perfect for both Fall and Winter) this little side gift is just $15. The collection also features the Bomb Baby 2 Mini Lip and Face Set for $24 which includes a limited-edition Travel Size version of your favorite highlighter, the Killawatt Foil Freestyle Highlighter in the shade Sandcastle and a new shade of the famous lip gloss, the Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer.

The Best Foundations for Oily Skin

When the sebaceous gland produces more sebum (or natural oil we naturally produce) than usual, it creates an oily finish to your skin. Granted the production of the sebaceous gland will make your skin hydrated and healthy, too much will make your skin oily. Oily skin can be caused by an array of things that range from the environment in which you live to the food that you ingest to even your individual anatomy to your DNA background.

As a woman who deals with oily skin in the Spring and Summer months, I have figured out ways of dealing with this issue. Although a good skincare regimen is vital, what I have discovered are some great foundations that help eliminate and deal with extra oil on the skin. My skin. I have tried quite a few foundations for oily skin. So what are the best?

1. NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation I like the texture of this foundation and how it lasts throughout the day. I have personally put this one to the test three times--one while working out, two while visiting Yellowstone National Park, and three one while laying in the sun. This foundation lasts and it doesn't feel dry nor creates any sort of weird oxidizing on your skin.

2. Kevyn Aucoin Beauty Foundation Balm Hydration is extremely vital and important, especially when you have oily skin simply because you don't want to use products that could potential weaken or damage your skin's natural acid mantle. This foundation is not only long-lasting, but provides your skin with moisture and is good for those of you who are looking for something anti-aging too.

3. Urban Decay All Nighter Liquid Foundation This virtually lasts through almost everything. I have went swimming while wearing this foundation and it didn't come off. The only thing that took this foundation off was makeup remover followed by my normal, routine skincare regimen.

4. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation When it comes to oily skin, I like this foundation because it's very lightweight and sinks into your skin like a second skin. I have used this foundation for years and still pick it up no matter what season it is. I have combination skin which leans towards the oily side during Spring and Summer. This foundation is fantastic.

5. Ellis Faas Foundation Working a regular 9-to-5 shift can be tiresome. And when you have oily skin, you just want the day to be over. Yet the day seems to be slower. Luckily this foundation exists, as it is clearly one of the best I have worn to the office. Whether dry or oily, this foundation will last through it all.

6. Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation I used this by accident before going outside and lets just say, it lasted the entire time. It didn't fade nor flake. Although this foundation is anything, but luxury, it is quality and truly proves that some of the greatest foundations can be found at your local drugstore. Nothing is better than an affordable foundation that performs so effortlessly.

7. Cover FX Power Play Foundation Recently, I discovered my real love for this foundation as I wore this to the gym recently. It is Summer, so my skin is on the oily side of course. After working out for almost two hours I looked in the mirror and realized my foundation was still on my face as if I just applied it. This was the foundation I used.

8. Pat McGrath Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Foundation As one of the world's best makeup artists, Pat McGrath delivers some of the greatest makeup products, with this foundation being one of them. I put this to the test while doing yoga and lets just say, this foundation lasted the entire time.

9. Marc Jacobs Beauty Shameless Youthful Look 24-Hour Foundation I have tried so many foundations this year, as my skin is combination and leans towards the oily side in the hotter climates. This foundation my friends has lasted through some of my toughest days this year. I have cried in this foundation and it didn't fade. What more can I say? For oily skin this is truly a winner.

10. LORAC POREfection Foundation What I love most about this foundation is the fact that you don't really need a primer and it still works incredibly. And as this is phenomenal for large pores, it is fantastic for those of you with oily skin. I put this to the test when I went to the recent Farmer's Market in 110 degree weather. I was quite stunned and a little shocked to see my foundation still on my face hours after I originally applied it.

Honorable mentions include: Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation, DermaBlend Professional Cover CremeHourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation StickLancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Long Lasting FoundationFenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation, Graftobian HD Ultra Glamour Creme Foundation, Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick

In conclusion, I would just like to say that these are the best foundations I have tried for oily skin.

Lipstick Day 2019

It is officially Lipstick Day. As much as I love lip gloss, lately I have been obsessed with lipstick. I don't know what it is about this round tube of pigmented goodness that I find myself relentlessly putting on my lips, but it makes me look and feel fantastic.

To celebrate today, I am sharing some of my favorite lipsticks right now. From left-to-right, these amazing gems include:

To all of you who love lipstick and wear it on a daily basis - Happy Lipstick Day!

Just another day, just another Monday

Me today.
Today was a relatively productive day overall, as I managed to get a lot accomplished. It is Monday so I know there are four days left in the work week. I am not going to be doing back flips just yet. I probably shouldn't settle for a life where the most exciting day is Friday, hence why I am modestly content.

On a softer note, I decided to go full orange glam today. I went with orange makeup (or orange eyes) to complement my orange dress.

First and foremost, I prepped and primed my skin. I used the Pixi Beauty Gold Luminous Oil followed by the Pixi Beauty Flawless Beauty Primer. Using a beautyblender, I applied the Rituals Miracle Foundation in the shade Ivory Beige. Then, I applied the Mehron Celebre Pro HD Finishing Powder in the shade Medium. To contour, I used the KKW Beauty Creme Contour Stick in the shades Light/Medium and Medium II. And to highlight I used the Mehron Highlight Pro-3 Palette in the shade Cool.

With the eyes I wanted something dramatic yet wearable. For the eyes, I didn't prime them like usual and went with the Giorgio Armani Beauty Eye Tint Liquid Eyeshadow in the shade 23- Camel Smoke. I didn't want to go crazy, so I decided to use the Shu Uemura Pressed Eyeshadow in the shades Orange 250 and Orange 251. To be honest, the 251 is beautiful but it isn't as pigmented as it could be. Then, I used Kylie Cosmetics Eyeshadow Single in Juicy followed by Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in the shade Mean Money/Hu$tla Baby. I finished my eyes with a few coats of the Eyeko Rock Out & Lash Out Mascara in the shade Beatnik Black. And on my brows I used the Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Eye Pencil in the shade 5.

For my lips, I used the Kylie Cosmetics Lipkit in the shade 22 topped with the limited-edition CoverGirl Star Wars Lipstick in the shade Gold 40 and the Fenty Beauty Cosmic Gloss in the shade Spacesuit.

My dress is from Herve Leger. I wore a jacket with it from Missguided. My necklace is from Nordstrom. My champagne diamond ring is an inherited piece.

In other news, New York officially proved why it is one of the best states in America by banning cat clawing. You can read the article here. Yes, not only will cat clawing be officially banned, but New York is the first state to do this. As a cat lover, I agree with this wholeheartedly and find this to be history in the making.

Additionally today is Pi Approximation Day. If you are a mathematician or simply have an interest and love for mathematics, you will appreciate today. And in case you are unaware Pi basically identifies the relationship between a circle's diameter and circumference. Pi is 3.14 (or 22/7 which is equal to 3.14) and proves its significance in everyday life, as the number if fundamentally ambiguous.

Other great days happening today include: Summer Leisure Day, Lion's Share Day, Spoonerism Day, Hammock Day, and National Penuche Fudge Day. Other observances on July 22, 2019 include: Liberation Day in Guam, Women's Union Day in Laos, and Sarawak Independence Day in Malaysia.

Some of my current beauty favorites that I am loving right now include: Chuda Beauty Everyday Exfoliating Cleanser, Skinceuticals C E Ferulic Serumerborian BB Creme Au Ginseng ClairCle de peau Beaute Radiant Multi-Repair Oil, TRIA Beauty SmoothBeauty Eye Wrinkle Laser, the Puruskin, Enhanced Total Body Derma Roller KitEllis Faas Lights, KKW Beauty Creme Contour Stick, the Olivia Garden Healthy Hair Eco-Friendly Natural Bamboo Large Paddle Brush, and the Qtica Sugar Scrub.

And those non-beauty favorites I am really loving also include: PUBG Mobile, Vita Coco Original Coconut WaterMonster Hydro drink in the flavor Blue Ice (although I must say I haven't tried them all), MuscleTech SX-7 Revolution Pre-Workout in the flavor Icy Rocket Freeze, Country Crock Plant Butter, Tofurky Deli Ham, the Design Home app, Zella activewear, DIY crafts from recycled materials (I love turning trash into treasure), the Bhagavad Gita, cooking anything Indian, watching documentaries about history (especially those with a mystery or and suspense kind of angle), listening to Spotify, Old Town Road, and reading about virtually anything political.

There are 162 days left in 2019 which means, there is a lot of work that needs to be done before we approach 2020. With that said, it is time for me to have a shower now because I want to make dinner in a few. I hope you are having a wonderful day.

June 2019: Beauty Favorites

ZO Skin Health Oclipse, one
of my favorite beauty
products of the month.
June was the start of a new month and a new season. Although a lot has happened this month, I felt like I went to sleep in May and woke up and it was already June, as the month went by fast. Is it just me or is this year flying by faster than usual?

As we sprung into Summer, I discovered quite few products I loved, some I hated and many I contemplated and debated whether to buy and use again. So, what are the best? What are my beauty favorites for the month of June?

First and foremost, I just want to let you know that I absolutely love the Chuda Everyday Exfoliating Cleanser. Curated by Dr. Eva Ocher of New York, I have tried so many products like this and have yet to find one as good as this one. I reach for this daily and just love this. My skin also looks and feels amazing after I use it. Trust me when I say that this is a holy grail beauty essential and a must-have for everyone looking to achieve incredible skin.

The Eterno LED Device is one of my favorite high-tech skincare devices. Utilizing red NASA LED lights, this is one of few beauty essentials I enjoy using on a daily basis. It is great for everything from fine lines and wrinkles to depigmentation and age spots to even large pores. My biggest issue has always been the sporadic acne breakout, but ever since using this device, I don't really have them much. Plus, in addition to being great for the skin, this product is great for thinning hair (and/or hair loss), depression, panic attacks and works great for curing moderate and mild headaches.

When it comes to my skin, I have always identified as having combination skin. And as my skin is a product of my environment, I feel like my skin leans towards dry during the Fall and Winter season (cold climates) and oily during the Spring and Summer season (hotter climates) which tends to be modestly conflicting because I have to change my skin care up a bit to fit what works for me. With that being said, the Pacifica Beauty Sea Foam Complete Face Wash is one of my favorites for this month. Not only is this product completely natural (which I think anyone can appreciate) it smells incredible and is non comedogenic, so it will not irritate or break your skin out. The foam factor is real also, as my skin feels extremely refreshed every time I use it.

I swear, every single time I travel I find myself reaching for the ZO Skin Health Oclipse Sunscreen + Primer SPF 30. It is one of my favorites, as it works to protect my skin. And it is extremely hydrating and still manages to combat oily. I will say that this relatively hard to find, as the product has changed it's formulation and name. The currently product has been renamed to ZO Skin Health Sunscreen + Primer SPF 30, but possesses a lighter formula than before.

When it comes to makeup, I am discovering how finicky and selective I am. Considering I have tried (and still continue to do so) virtually everything, I find myself picking and choosing wisely and separating the good, the bad and the ugly. And in my quest, I find myself really love the Stila Iridescent Glitter & Glow Set. The duo-chromatic effect paired with a long-lasting vibrant formula speaks for itself, making it one of my favorite beauty products for the month.

Another favorite for the month of June is the Mehron Highlight Pro-3 Color Palette in the shade Cool. Not only are these highlights extremely pigmented, but the color payoff is unreal. I have tried many highlighting palettes in my life, many of which were just ok and no way; whereas, quite a few slay and this, my friends, is one of the best I have ever used.

I have tried many hair masks. My hair is normal straight, but tends to lean towards combination because of it's length. I feel like during the colder seasons like Fall and Winter my hair is dry or drier and then during the Spring and Summer seasons it is oily (especially at the roots). With that said, I really love the Pai-Shau Supreme Revitalizing Mask. I love the way it makes my hair feel and look after using it. It takes a lot to impress me, but this product definitely does.

When it comes to massage oil, I really love them because most possess natural ingredients. I have tried so many and yet I find myself reaching for the Intimate Earth Aromatherapy Massage Oil in Chai. My boyfriend is from India so I really love and appreciate the powerful masala scent, although I loved chai way before I met him. The Honey Almond scent is fantastic also.

And last, but certainly not least, I absolutely love the Evolve toothbrush. I brush my teeth so many times a day (even though I probably shouldn't) and find myself always reaching for this toothbrush simply because it is literally the best. This gets every area of your teeth and isn't harsh on your enamel which I love. The best $15 I have ever spent.

I have been wanting to ask you guys, do you think I should do a hate list? I don't like being negative, but there are quite a few products I have tried that are just not good. I don't want to tell any of you who read my blog what to do with your money, but I don't want you to waste your money on certain products either. Hate is such a strong word. Perhaps a dislike or no way list? What do you think? If you think I should do a hate list, please let me know in the comments.

Stay tuned for my beauty favorites for next month. I hope you are having a wonderful day. Happy July!

The TRUTH about Jaclyn Hill lipsticks

Jaclyn Hill's lipstick from Jaclyn Cosmetics.
Have you ever been so excited about something only to be disappointed once you received it? Not only was I wholeheartedly excited to try the new Jaclyn Hill lipsticks from Jaclyn Cosmetics, as I absolutely adore Jaclyn Hill, but wanted to support her brand as her products were some of the most anticipated makeup products to launch this year. Plus, the packaging is amazing. Especially for the $18 price point. But, what is the real truth about Jaclyn Hill's lipstick?

Her lipstick is terrible.

First and foremost, the formula is awful. In my many years of using lipstick, I have never used a lipstick that both crystallized and oxidized on my lips. This was so uncomfortable on my lips, I felt like I was immediately using a defective product that was sitting in a box on a shelf for years.

Only one of the lipsticks had weird fibers and debri on it. Almost reminded me of lint from an old clothing dryer. I have no idea why she would release these lipsticks and still extremely baffled as to why she would. Two of the other ones had weird discoloration forming at the base. I want to guess mold. Only one of them had nothing wrong with it.

Another thing that I found to be modestly revolting was the smell of these. The scent of this lipstick just reminds me of old lipstick sitting on a shelf in an abandoned lab. I felt like I was using a lip product sitting on a shelf for years. I don't like the smell of old lipstick and would never want to put anything on my lips that smelled like it.

The only good things that I have to say about this lipstick is the shade range. I love the nude concept, as I love wearing nude and pink shades more so than reds and plums, etc. The packaging is also bank and really gives the lipstick a much higher quality than what it is really worth.

I will still continue to support Jaclyn Hill and I am hoping that she fixes this problem. Based on reading other reviews, I am not the only one who has had this experience. As much as I want to recommend these lipsticks, I simply cannot. Perhaps she needs to pull every single lipstick she has and restart from scratch. And if the manufacturer doesn't fix this problematic issue, I would go with another manufacturer. I believe this wasn't her fault, but more so the lab's fault and I hoping for a positive resolve in a near future. With that said, I would purchase these again only if the formula was changed.

May 2019: Beauty Favorites

As we Spring into Summer, we walk away from Winter for a while. At least for several months. May is one of those months I truly love, as it reminds me of why I love and appreciate Spring so much. Not only are my rose bushes starting to grow, but so everything I have planted the month before is doing so.

This month was a month of discoveries. I tried some great beauty products and even discovered some that I would match with my favorite holy grails. And although of the products I tried were just ok, some were no way too and quite a few slayed.

So, what are my favorites this month?

First and foremost, I must say that I love the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow. I have been searching for a great liquid eyeshadow. Most (not all) I have tried tend to dry up and don't possess a creamy nor long-lasting formula. These are creamy and go on smooth. They also dry to a nice pigmented finish, which I love and appreciate. Plus, you can manipulate the texture in a sense where it is easy to work with, as you can blend it without it drying too fast.

I know I have probably mentioned this product a million times already. And when I was a writer for Examiner (which is now defunct and directs to AXS.com) I was always raving about this. This month I am loving it more than ever. It is the Laura Mercier Tightline Cake Eye Liner. I use this eye liner with an eye primer (and it can be any eye primer) mixed with a little bit of setting spray to activate the product, as water alone tends to kind of dilute the color. Using this combination with this eye liner really makes my eyes just pop.

Tiffany Andersen is a woman with a voice, a vision and a message and it speaks in her skin care. As every single product is infused with gold, I have to tell you, I have loved quite a bit from her. However, there is one product that I love most and find myself using so much. It is the Gavee Gold Diamond Cell Salt Polish. Not only does it smell like citrus bliss, this incredible scrub is infused with authentic diamond powder and mother of pearl.

When it comes to face cream, I am extremely finicky about what I put on my face, as I have combination skin which changes depending on environment. As my skin tends to be drier during the colder climates, it leans towards oily during the warmer and hotter months. Right now I am really loving the Revive Moisturizing Renewal Cream. It contains an SPF of 15 which works to protect your skin from not only UVA/UVB rays, but actual DNA damage and environmental stressors such as pollution and wind burn. I have tried so many creams and have been really loving this one.

And lets not forget a good moisturizer for your face is vital, yes, but so is one of the body. I have tried quite a few this month. Right now I am truly loving the Lalicious Sugar Coconut Velour Body Melt. It epitomizes real bliss, as it possesses incredible ingredients, smells wonderful and makes my skin look and feel wonderful. This is great for every skin type, but a much needed pick me up for those of you with dry skin.

Giovanni Cosmetics offers some of the best shampoos and conditioners I have ever used. And I must admit that I love virtually every single product from the 2-Chic Repairing line. Not only does everything smell like coconut cream berry (which is bliss among itself) but it actually works to correct any damage done to your hair, repair it after time and prevent it from happening again. When it comes to products, I am quite selective as my hair tends to be like my skin - combination. This line is great for every hair type and will work generously to repair your hair. Plus it smells incredible.

ZOYA makes incredible nail polish. With over 400 colors to choose from, I am decided that I really love Aggie right now. As a gold holographic metal shade, the bronze micro glitter really adds depth to the color. I have worn this shade for a week and get so many compliments from it.

Until next month. These are my favorites for the month of May. Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day.

Ezra Miller's 5 Hour Met Gala Look

Makeup artist Mimi Choi applying
makeup to Ezra Miller for the
2019 Met Gala.
Lets face it, Ezra Miller really knows how to get attention on the red carpet. Earlier tonight the singer, songwriter and actor made an appearance wearing a custom Burberry suit at the Metropolitan of Arts red carpet proving he is anything, but boring and banal.

And believe it or not, Ezra Miller's incredibly eccentric makeup look took five hours. Courtesy of the talented Mimi Choi, who used the Mehron Illusion by Mimi Choi palette, this look epitomizes abnormal genius.

In a world of camp-theme, this look went beyond what most would expect hence why it is one of the most talked about looks for the 2019 Met Gala. Choi, of course an SFX genius and one of the most underrated makeup artists of our generation.

Can you spot his real eyes?

The Met Gala is not just one of the most highly anticipated events in the world, it allows every celebrity to be creative with fashion. And speaking of creativity, Priyanka Chopra did just that earlier this evening. Wearing a custom Dior dress which took over 60 days to make, proves why this Bollywood beauty epitomizes the Camp theme. Although her hair was unique, as her dress was totally fleek, it was her makeup which stole the show. Courtesy of the talented Pati Dubroff, Chopra was treated to a glam look which complemented her Dior dress.

"This look is camp to the max. I was inspired by Louis XIV and his royal court, Dior runway extreme, but with the edgy spirit of Bowie. She is the perfect muse to Louis XIV and embodies a fantasy level of his vanity," Pati Dubroff shared regarding the inspiration behind this look.

So, is it possible to recreate this look at home? Absolutely.

First and foremost, celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff created the ultimate powder finish utilizing the Marc Jacobs Beauty Accomplice Instant Blurring Beauty Powder in the shade Muse. As she continued, she applied the Marc Jacobs Accomplice Concealer & Touch Up Stick in the shade Medium before applying the Marc Jacobs Accomplice Concealer & Touch Up Stick in the shade Fair to her actual eyebrows. She also used this product highlight and brighten her eyes.

Dubroff wanted to create the ultimate dramatic eye. She applied the Marc Jacobs Beauty Fineliner Ultra Skinny Gel Crayon Eyeliner in Fine (Wine) shortly before using the Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Scandaldust. Dubroff wanted to create a bright pink towards the center of the eye, she she used the Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Matte Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in (Pop)ular and the Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Provocouture on the top. She finished this part of the eye by adding some glitter.

To brigten the eye, the world-renowned makeup artist used the Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in (N)ice. Next, she applied the Marc Jacobs Beauty Fineliner Ultra-Skinny Gel Crayon Eyeliner in Big Eyes.

As the celebrity makeup artist continued with Priyanka's eyes, she applied the Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Primer Epic Lash Primer to the bottom lashes to lighten them up. Taking white pencil, she applied this directly to the top of Chopra's eyes using a fan. To finish the eyes, Pati applied several coats of the Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara to the Bollywood beauty's eyes.

To complete Chopra's Met Gala look, the celebrity MUA used the Marc Jacobs Beauty Poutliner Longwear Lip Pencil in Currant Mood to shape and enhance her lips. Finally, she applied the Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick in Boy Gorgeous in a heart shape to highlight the cupid's bow.

Congratulations! You have just recreated Priyanka Chopra's makeup look for the 2019 Met Gala.

Get the makeup look: Salma Hayek at 2019 Met Gala

Salma Hayek always looks so exotic and radiant on every carpet. And tonight was no exception for the beautiful starlet as she looked incredible in her black and gold Gucci gown. Although her dress was great, her hair really stood out; however, it was her makeup that stole the spotlight. Her fierce and fabulous face was created by the talented makeup artist Matthew VanLeeuwen

So, is it possible to recreate this look at home? Yes.

First and foremost, the world-renowned makeup artist prepped Salma Hayek's skin using Weleda Skincare products, to prepare the stunning starlet for tonight's big event.

Then, VanLeeuwen primed Hayek's face with the Stila Lingerie Souffle Skin Perfecting Primer in Sun-Kissed. As he continued, he applied the Stila Stay All Day Foundation & Concealer in the shade Almond just around the Salma's face. Next, he applied the Stila Stay All Day Foundation & Concealer in the shade Buff 7 in the center of her face including under her eyes. "I wanted to brighten her complexion," VanLeeuwen shared.

Now taking the Stila After Hours Eye Shadow Palette, the celebrity makeup artist used the shades Anything Goes and Cash Out, where he mixed both shades together. VanLeeuwen continued the eyes using the Stila Glitter & Glow in the shade Rose Gold Retro. Next, he used the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Eye Liner in Intense Black. Then, he applied the Lashify Gossamers in F14 and F16. To complete the eyes, celebrity MUA Matthew VanLeeuwen applied several coats of the Stila Huge Extreme Lash Mascara

As the internationally known makeup artist continued, he applied the Stila Convertible Color in the shade Camellia. He applied this product like he would as a bronzer to the lovely Latina's cheeks and temples shortly before applying the Stila Heaven's Hue Highlighter in the shade Incandescence.

Celebrity makeup artist Matthew VanLeeuwen applied the Stila Stay All Day Lipstick in Besos followed by the Stila Stay All Day Lip Liner in Pinot Noir.  He used these two products to create a beautiful red lip. To finish the look, he applied several coats of the Stila Beauty Boss Lip Gloss in the shade Empowering.

Congratulations! You have just recreated Salma Hayek's makeup look for the 2019 Met Gala.

Get the hair look: Zendaya at 2019 Met Gala

Zendaya looked like a true princess on the red carpet, as she embraced the 2019 Met Gala theme: Camp. Wearing a custom Tommy Hilfiger blue dress that looked like something out of a real Cinderella fairytale, Zendaya truly made magic tonight.

As much as I love her dress and her makeup, what I really loved was her hair. Styled by the talented Ursula Stephen, the beautiful actress's tresses were treated amazingly. Inspired by classic Disney character, Stephen gave Zendaya a look to complement her style.

So, is it possible to recreate this look at home? Absolutely.

First and foremost, Stephen shampooed and conditioned the HairSoFab hair piece with the Suave Professionals Sulfate-Free Cleansing Shampoo and the Suave Professionals Moisturizing Curl Conditioner

After the hair was properly cleansed, the hair expert applied the Love Beauty and Planet Coconut Milk & White Jasmine Multi-Benefit Hair Milk shortly before drying it. Once the hair was dry, hairstylist began to curl large sections the starlet's hair. Then, taking the Dove Care Between Washes Foam Dry Shampoo to create volume, Stephen used a Tangle Teezer brush to brush Zendaya's hair out.

at the 2019 Met Gala.

As Stephen continued, she created a very unique french twist. Next, she teased the root of the stunning star's hair shortly before brushing out the twist. Then, taking bobby pins, she locked Zendaya's hair into place. Once the twist was where the hair expert wanted it, she pulled out Zendaya's bangs a little bit. Stephen is a perfectionist when it comes to hair so she played with this until it fit the starlet's hair perfectly.

To finish the look, Stephen sprayed the TRESemme TRES Two Unscented Extra Hold Hair Spray and before adding her custom head band and sending her off to the Met Gala ball.

Rita Ora always looks amazing at virtually every event she attends. Tonight is no exception. The British beauty stunned the red carpet earlier this evening wearing a relatively plunging gold glam gown by the iconic Marc Jacobs. And although Ora's dress and hair looked amazing, it was her makeup which really stood out tonight. Courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Kathy Jeung, who treated the starlet songwriter to a timeless look which complemented her gold dress.

"My inspiration for the look came from her gold sequined dress by Marc Jacobs Couture. It inspired me to give Rita 1930's screen screen goddess look. Thin eyebrows, deep contours of the eyes with metallic shimmer on the lids, satin bronzed skin, and lips lightly lined with a nude gloss," Jeung shared with me.

But the question we all have is-can we recreate this makeup look at home? Absolutely.

First and foremost, the celebrity makeup artist prepped Ora's skin. She used Retrouve skincare products. After she prepped the beautiful singer's face, she used the Nanacoco HD Powder Foundation in the shade Warm Tan. Then, taking the Nanacoco Airfare Concealer Brush 907, Jeung applied the Nanacoco HD Cover Concealer in the shade Orange shortly before applying the Nanacoco HD Cover Concealer in the shade Natural.

As the celebrity MUA continued with the look, she used the Nanacoco Contouring & Strobing Palette in the shade Medium using the Nanacoco Flat Contour Brush, the Nanacoco Highlighter Brush and the Nanacoco Angled Powder Brush 902.

The eyebrows were the main event of this look, as they took the most time. Jeung bleached Ora's eyebrows which took two hours. Then, she applied the Nanacoco Browstylers Highlighter Duo in the shade Brown/Pearl Beige. To finish the brows, the celebrity makeup artist used the Nanacoco Browstylers Micro Pencil in the shade Dark Brown.

World-renowned makeup artist Kathy Jeung shared that the eyes were supremely important with this look. Using the Nanacoco Smudge Brush 910, the celebrity MUA applied the Nanacoco Longwear Eye Liner in Gold. Next, she applied the Nanacoco Glitzn Face & Body Pigment in the shades orange gold and copper.

The eyelashes were also quite a game changer, as Jeung shared. For this makeup look, the internationally known MUA used the Nanacoco 'Giana Style' 3D Volume lashes. Then, she applied several coats of the Nanacoco HD Extreme Volume and Curl Lenghtening Mascara

Next, Kathy applied the Nanacoco HD Pressed Blush in the shade Peach Coral. To finish the look, the celebrity makeup artist used the Nanacoco Outlast Lip Liner in the shade Burgundy shortly before applying the Nanacoco Shimmertallics Metallic Lip Gloss in the shade Sunkissed.

Serena Williams stunned the red carpet this evening for the 2019 Met Gala wearing a very vibrant Atelier Versace dress. Being true to her roots, the iconic tennis star wore custom Nike sneakers to match. Although I wouldn't say they matched, they definitely made her stand out compared to most.

Her makeup really blew up the spotlight tonight. Courtesy of Renny Vasquez for Pat McGrath Labs, Williams was treated to an incredible makeup look to complement her style.

Is it possible to recreate this makeup look at home? Absolutely. Lets get started!

First and foremost, the Pat McGrath makeup artist prepped the fashion icon's face using an array of products. Then, he applied various products including the Pat McGrath Skin Fetish Highlighter + Balm Duo on the shade Golden and Bronze.

So, how did internationally known makeup artist Renny Vasquez do Serena Williams' eyes tonight? He used the Pat McGrath EYEdols Eyeshadow in the shades: dark matter, burnished honey, deep velvet, statuesque, celestial and in sextrovert.

The talented MUA also used the Pat McGrath Permagel Ultra Glide Pencil in the shade XTreme Black and the Pat McGrath Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner in the XTreme Black.

To finish the entire look, Vasquez applied the new Pat McGrath Blitztrance Lipstick in the shade Full Fantasy. Lastly, he used the Pat McGrath Lust Gloss in Aphrodisiac.

Congratulations! You have just recreated Serena Williams 2019 Met Gala makeup look.

Lady Gaga definitely knows how to make a real entrance at the Met Gala. As one of the five people to host the show this year, the award-winning superstar looked incredibly glam embracing the original "Camp: Notes of Fashion" fashion theme. Styled by the one and only Brandon Maxwell, Gaga's designer, the world-renowned pop starlet is one of few this evening who have stole the show.

And as amazing as Lady Gaga's outfits look, her makeup is what really stole the show. Courtesy of her longtime makeup artist Sarah Tanno, Gaga was treated to a makeup look which complemented her style.

So, is it possible to recreate this look at home? Absolutely.

First and foremost, the celebrity makeup artist prepped Gaga's skin. She used the new Marc Jacobs Beauty Youthquake Hydra-Full Retexturizing Gel Creme. Because this cream has incredible hydrating properties (plus it smells fantastic) Tanno didn't use any foundation on Lady Gaga's skin and went directly for the Marc Jacobs Accomplice Concealer & Touch Up Stick. This has to be one of my favorite concealers ever and probably the best new concealer I have tried yet. To finish the face, the celebrity MUA applied the Marc Jacobs Accomplice Instant Blurring Beauty Powder using the Marc Jacobs Face II Sculpting Foundation Brush

The obscenely glam yet eccentrically fun lashes were curated by Sarah Tanno herself. Tanno did admit to applying several coats of the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara

For the lips, the Sarah Tanno used the Marc Jacobs Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon in the shade Flaming Oh. To complete the entire look, the celebrity makeup artist used the Marc Jacobs Enamored Hydrating Lip Gloss Stick in the shade Sweet Escape.

Congratulations! You have just recreated Lady Gaga's makeup look for the 2019 Met Gala.

Met Gala Skincare Prep 2019: Rita Ora

Rita Ora always glows on the red carpet. Not only does her makeup look incredible, but you can clearly tell she takes care of her skin. And tonight is no exception to the rule, as the starlet had her skin prepped by the talented, celebrity makeup artist Kathy Jueng for the 2019 Met Gala.

But what did the celebrity makeup artist use on her skin? She used one of the greatest skin care brands, Retrouve skincare. Ora's skin was prepped for glam just before the big event using quite a few products from this brand.

First and foremost, Jueng used the Retrouve Skin Brilliance Priming Pads. These pads are amazing and work to gently exfoliate the skin in the most effective yet non abrasive way possible. Infused with sugar cane, these priming pads promote a radiant yet more youthful complexion.

What about the eyes? The celebrity makeup artist gently patted the Retrouve Revitalizing Eye Concentrate Skin Hydrator on Ora's eyes. This is one of the best eye products I have used and really gives your eyes a much needed brightness and pick-me-up.

As the celebrity MUA continued, she applied the Retrouve Nutrient Face Serum onto Ora's face. She followed up with the Retrouve Intensive Replenishing Facial Moisturizer and Retrouve Dynamic Nourishing Face Cream.

With art, science and beauty-you can achieve this simple yet effective skincare prep at home.

Spring into Summer with the new Dior Cruise 2020 collection. Courtesy of Maria Grazia Chiuri, the makeup was curated by the one and only Peter Philips, the creative and image director of the brand. Presented in the picturesque El Badi Palace in Marrakesh, Morocco, this is as diverse as it gets. In fact, Philips recently shared that it is just that.

"This is a runway show where the wide diversity of skin tones. I could work on a natural, made-to-measure makeup. It is a pure and luminous look that reveals natural individual beauty, the creative and image director of Dior shared.

But the real question remains; however, is it possible to recreate this look at home? Absolutely.

First and foremost, Peter Philips prepped the models' skin using the Dior Backstage Face & Body Primer. As he continued, he used the Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation. Then, the world-renowned makeup artist used the Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette in 001 Universal, where he applied what he describes as a "very light veil". Next, Philips touched up the models using the Dior Flash Luminizer followed by the Dior Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer

Continuing with this look, Philips did a wonderful job with executing this to work naturally yet effectively. The Dior creative director went immediately for the Dior Brow Styler. Additionally, he chose the shade 003 Amber Neutrals from the Dior Backstage Eye Palette, as this shade was perfect for every models' skin tone. He finished the eyes by applying several coats of the Dior Diorshow Iconic Overcurl in 090 Black.

To complete the look, the image director of Dior applied the Dior Addict Maximizer. He touched up the lips using the neutral shades from the Dior Backstage Lip Palette.
