Best in Beauty 2015: Blush

Blush is a beauty essential that gives your cheeks a little pop of color. It is one of those products that can emphasize any cheekbone and give you a more youthful yet fresh appearance, as a result. Some of the greatest blushes I have ever used are those underrated gems that not many makeup enthusiasts ever talk about. I will say that the benefits of using blush are quite astounding. So, what are the best blushes of 2015?

NARS Blush - What do you get when you combine micronized powder, an intense hue, a silky texture, a haute shade, and a blendable application? This blush. I cannot think of a single "con" about this blush. This incredible NARS addition possesses everything you want in a blush product. It is just one of the best I have ever used. ($30 at NARS)

Kevyn Aucoin The Pure Powder Glow - When I first started wearing blush, I used some of the wrong products. This kind of made me depart away from the product. Of course, several years later I discovered this little gem and ever since have been a fan. Powerfully pigmented, this blush creates magic on your cheeks. ($37 at Barneys)

Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee - Are the best things in life really free or are they just natural? What I found fascinating about this blush was how it not only looked on my skin, but felt too. This product is not only natural looking, but made with natural ingredients. ($22 at Josie Maran)

OFRA Cosmetics Pressed Blush - Whether you are searching for a blush that produces an amazing color pay-off or simply looking for something that does not smudge or budge, then I think it's safe to say we have a winner. Whether wet or dry, this product looks amazing on virtually every cheekbone. ($15 at OFRA)

Colourpop Blush - When you search for a blush, do you go for something pigmented and blendable or do you tend to go for whatever gives a natural looking color? Do you go for something budget friendly or something more prestige? With a wide-range, variety of shades and finishes, this amazing Colorpop addition proves why it is one of the best of 2015. ($8 at Colourpop)

Examiner's Reader's Choice:

NARS Blush - After months of conducting polls on Examiner.com this year, you have all spoken and the winner is NARS Blush with the most popular shade being the famous Orgasm. Congratulations. ($30 at NARS)
