You may know her as Taylor Shaw in the NBC hit series Blindspot, as you may know her as Sif in the hit film Thor, but Jaimie Alexander really stunned the red carpet recently at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic held on June 4, 2016. In fact, she really stole the spotlight at the event on Saturday where she wore a very glamorous halter styled romper. The romper featured a sheer green silk and a white skirt which layered the outfit. As her makeup looked fabulous, her hair really stood out. Alexander was styled by the one and only Matt Fugate, Kérastase's consulting hairstylist. Fugate was inspired to give Alexander a 'braided mohawk' style to complement her beautiful yet effortlessly flowing dress.

"I wanted to give Jaimie a very 'Warrior Helen of Troy' style to complement her beautiful, flowy dress. We decided to add two micro braids to help secure the hair down during the windy day and give this battle-like look," Fugate said about the inspiration behind the starlet's hair look.

So, is it possible to re-create this hair look at home? Absolutely.

First and foremost, Fugate prepped Alexander's hair. He used the Kérastase Nutritive Bain Shampoo and the Kérastase Fondant Magistral Conditioner. Then, Fugate took the Kérastase L'incroyable Blowdry and applied it to the starlet's damp hair before blow drying the product into her hair.

As Fugate continued, he created two very fine, hairline braids on the Blindspot star's hair and secured the braids with pins. As he continued with the style, he sprayed the Kérastase VIP Volume in Powder throughout Alexander's hair to give her hair body and lift.

Next, Kérastase's consulting hairstylist took different sections of Alexander's hair and wrapped the curling iron around them. This works amazingly to create a very messy look. As Fugate continued, he grabbed Alexander's hair and rolled it before pinning in both the middle and back of the hair. Fugate went towards the nape of neck, as this is what creates that faux mohawk look. Fugate wanted to play up the starlet's edgy style with rolling her hair.

Taking the Kérastase Fix Fabulous, Fugate sprayed this product on the braids and dried them, using a little sock over his blowdryer to help set the style. To finish the look, he applied the Kérastase Laque Noire all over.

Congratulations! You have just re-created Jaimie Alexander's hair at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic.
