Black Cat by Sarah Afshar

Beautiful Fall
Good Morning! As much as I have contemplated and debated whether or not to dress up for Halloween this year, I simply cannot as I have plans today. Job interview for one. But to be honest, I just don't have the time to participate in Halloween much anymore.

As fun as the holiday is (and it is very fun - costumes, candy, pumpkins, caramel apples, etc), I will just have to entertain the idea of possibly participating in the future. Honestly, truth be told, I don't really party unless it is with family and friends, so I don't think I am missing out much.

I can eat candy and drink apple cider at home. I am more of a Thanksgiving and Christmas girl to be honest. But for those of you celebrating Halloween today/tonight, I do hope you have an amazing one.

Speaking of which, since today is Halloween, I thought I would share my rendition of Black Cat that I recorded last year on Smule originally for Friday the 13th. I should probably start singing more again on Smule. I still have the app installed on my phone, but have been so busy I haven't even had the chance to log onto it.

Everyone is sharing their renditions of Thriller by Michael Jackson, I thought I would be different and sing Black Cat by Janet Jackson. To listen to my cover, simply watch/listen to the video above. If it doesn't play, just click here right now. Make sure you are wearing headphones. Photo is courtesy of my neighbor's cat Jinxie who loves to come over to my house and visit me often.

I seriously want to go back to bed. Happy Halloween everyone. Please be safe.
