This is not only one of the most audacious and risky renditions of Hey Jude by The Beatles, it is one of the most bad ass covers I heard yet. Shane Paul Smith totally rocked it. This is just a glimpse of what happened after the second X Factor auditions in Dallas, TX.

I have NEVER heard this song done this way before and guess what?! I love it! It's not depressing like the original. Imagine how this song would have been if it were done in an uptempo. Probably much BIGGER than it was during it's time.

Incredible! Seriously, if this is the talent we can all look forward to, XFactor definitely has American Idol, the Voice, and all of these other reality shows beat.
