Strikeforce Weigh-Ins for November 17th 2011 - Ronda Rousey and Julia Budd

My friend Rob Mikitarian (who is a very good friend of Ronda's) sent me this picture via cell phone. This is the Strikeforce weigh-ins happening right now at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV. For tomorrow's WMMA 145 lb main card fight Ronda Rousey will face Julia Budd.


I think that Ronda will win. How? Possibly a rear naked choke, but I guarantee that Ronda will have the submission. I am going to watch the fight tomorrow (Friday, November 18th 2011). Strikeforce Challengers: Britt vs. Sayers airs on Showtime. Check your local cable listings for the exact time.

Julia is going to try to give Rhonda a good fight. I think in the end though Rhonda will be the winner. I heard from numerous others that she trains with men and has incredible striking that she hasn't been able to use yet. Rhonda looks innocent but, in the ring she is a real warrior.

Rhonda has an amazing body and beautiful face. Rhonda is also a wonderful judoka (phenomenal actually) and has yet to show her striking or what she is capable of after submitting women into armbars after a minute? (some less than that) The other girl is so overhyped. She is some fitness model who claims to be a fighter and know about MMA. She fought some ghetto fighter (Nunes) who is a good striker but, terrible ground fighter. I think Strikeforce needs to up their stance and give Rhonda a better opponent. I want to see her and Nunes and after Rhonda beats her, I wanna see her against Cyborg, who will actually give her competition.

Ronda! I am surprised they didn't pair Ronda up with someone like Alexis Davis or even Amanda Nunes. I have an instinct Strikeforce will give Alexis the winner of this fight or the winner of the Cyborg/Hiroko fight.

Ronda needs to go in for the takedown early. I have been watching Julia's fights. She is definitely a striker, as her style is Muy Thai. Ronda needs to get in for the take down, do the armbar, and tap her out. I think that Julia is going to try to block it and hold but, Ronda needs to do a reverse sub and use her hips to thrust out.

Ronda trains with Leo Frincu. The man is a world champion wrestler and he has trained some of the best fighters on the planet including the Olympic team in 2004. Ronda trains with men including your friend Rob who is a good friend of Leo's. I have seen Chuck Liddel at Leo's gym before and also Manny, Karen, Greg M, and Karo. Ronda hasn't been able to use her striking because she is such a wonderful judoka but, if she can use it to tonight she can show others what a wonderful fighter she actually is.

When you say Karen, are you talking about Karen Darabedyan? That guy is such a nice guy. He lost his dad not too long ago and hasn't been the same since. He trains at Leos I think also.

To the jealous and hateful person who continues to post nasty remarks in regards to Ronda, I am not putting your comments through. Yes, you are entitled to freedom of speech, however; I am entitled to refrain from posting your trash talking filth loser. You must have quite the fragile psyche to have such angst on a person who has contributed a lot to the mixed martial arts sport. Little do you know that with each response you are only making her famous. Take your negative energy elsewhere because I am not going to allow you to post it here. Ronda is a beautiful, strong woman and one of the greatest MMA fighters to ever exist in the cage. Jealousy is an ugly disease. I hope for your sake that one day that you will recognize this and get it cured.

Ronda is such a wonderful martial artist. She has a black belt in Judo (4th dan, I do believe) and she has trained with Leo Frincu, Gene Lebelle, and Gokor Chivichyan. She has an Olympic bronze medal. She is obviously training in other martial arts to make herself more well rounded. Leo is one of the greatest wrestlers ever on the planet who has taught over champions. Haters make you famous, lovers make you rich. Only third rate jealous bitches would dare hate.

I saw pictures of Rob with Ronda and Manny before acting goofy. He's an Armenian guy right? I saw him in pictures with Kamal Shalorus. He seems like a nice person. He was in those party pictures with Ronda after her last fight.

Ronda should be fighting Amanda Nunes, Alexis Davis, or Cyborg Cris. Not some fitness model who is a mediocre muy thai fighter. What more does Rhonda have to prove? They give her opponents that don't deliver and it makes WMMA into a mockery.
