Supersmile is an oral care company that was founded in 1987 by Mrs. Lucia Smigel. I recently discovered the Professional Activating Rods by Supersmile. The recommended usage is once per week or whenever you need an extra whitening boost. I decided to try this product last week for the first time with Supersmile's Whitening System, in an effort to whiten my teeth. Did it work? What did I think?
PROS
At first, I found myself a little confused about how to use these activating rods, until I discovered the simplicity of them. All you have to do is snap open the capsule, place the swab inside and as you push up, apply it to your teeth.
What I love about this outstanding Supersmile addition is the fact that it is safe. Believe it or not, it conditions your tooth enamel. Not only is this safe, but works to accelerate the whitening process. It isn't harsh, which is why I love it so much.
The Sodium Bicarbonate in this product works to deep clean the surface, which makes this product not only useful in a whitening sense, but in a clarifying sense too.
When it comes to the level of whitening, I noticed a huge difference. The results are incredibly astonishing for just one use. As effective as they are now, I definitely believe they are going to be even greater in the future.
CONS
The Supersmile Activating Rods use Hydrogen Peroxide to prepare the tooth enamel. Although Hydrogen Peroxide has proved to be a safe medium in whitening teeth effectively, if you are someone who isn't a fan of Peroxide or believes differently, you may not be fond of this product.
If you are a budget or looking to spend under $10, you are not going to be interested in this product.
This product is beneficial in so many ways, however; if you don't intend to purchase the Supersmile Whitening System, it isn't as effective.
You can purchase Supersmile's Activating Rods at Supersmile.com or at your nearest Supersmile retailer for $36. Would I recommend this product to a friend or family member? Absolutely, but only if they are interested in whitening their teeth. Would I use this product again? Most definitely. In fact, I just used it 10 minutes ago.
