Today, friends of Morgan Ingram from the RIP Morgan Ingram page have uncovered that Tricia Griffith, the administrator of Websleuths, is or was actually Marcie Wogan the entire time and has been impersonating her for years. It is also important that I clarify somethings. The Tricia Griffith who operates the Websleuths forum is not the same individual as the CEO of Progressive. The Websleuths Tricia appears to be an armchair detective lacking the credentials, accolades, and respect that the CEO commands. They are two different people.
For years, I have been subjected to attacks from someone I believed to be Marcie Wogan or Marcie Sweren from Maryland, only to discover that it was Websleuths Tricia orchestrating these actions. And what’s crazier is Tricia allegedly has family in the same area Wogan is from. According to RIP Morgan Ingram, the real Marcie Wogan, who also went by the alias Marcie Sweren, passed away in October 2016. It is deeply troubling that Websleuths Tricia, a boomer from Utah who masquerades as online criminal investigator would exploit another woman's identity and image in such a manner. Their erratic behavior suggests that this was not a case of mere impersonation; it raises serious concerns about their motives.
You can watch the video here. The “death threats” and “have a nice day” is clearly Websleuths Tricia Griffith’s voice plain as day. It’s 100% her voice. You can tell she tried to disguise most of her voice, but failed during those times. Tricia is 100% Marcie Wogan and was using her identity to troll innocent people online.
This situation prompts me to question whether Tricia is similarly impersonating me and Toni Ingram. I will be reaching out to a litigator regarding this. I want to also extend my gratitude to the contributors of RIP Morgan Ingram for bringing this unsettling behavior to light. Thank you for exposing this. You guys are amazing.

While I have not pursued legal action against Ms. Griffith for her outlandish lies she posted on the Marcie Wogan alias because you can’t get blood from a stone and it would be a waste of my time, the court’s time, and money, I have addressed her lies here on my blog and exposed any detrimental behaviors as is consistent with both my personal convictions and the overarching principles of equitable accountability.
And despite the public revelations of her bad behavior, Tricia will always be an ego driven loser filled with angst. She is not an investigator. She’s not a hero. She’s not a savior. She is an armchair sleuth who runs a true crime forum. She is not the only loud voice online. And although she has a right to an opinion, she doesn’t have the right to scam, lie about, steal from, or attack anyone.
It is also worthy of note that, despite any negative personal interactions with Ms. Griffith, I have conscientiously moved beyond any such matters because her harassment towards me stopped almost a decade ago now. Nonetheless, I remain cognizant of the broader implications of her actions, which continue to resurface in various online occurrences that ultimately revert to her notorious conduct.
I find it commendable that certain commentators and content creators (Joleen Lunzer, Olaap, Dreadful Penny, and others) have taken a principled stand by exposing her reprehensible behavior. In my opinion, this form of public accountability is not only justified, but necessary, as it exposes her lies and fraud. Hopefully she will see how bad her behavior is and change. It isn’t too late to change. She’s pushing 70. Hopefully she will be better because it’s evidently clear she doesn’t have a long life left. Time is valuable and she’s wasting it with this bad behavior.
