January 2020: Beauty Favorites

It is so hard to believe today is the last day of January. It feels like only yesterday we celebrated 2020 and now the first month of the year is already gone. During this time I discovered and experienced many new things, including beauty products I like and enjoy. And truth be told, some of them have been out for a while. So, what are they? What are my favorite beauty favorites for January?

MAC Cosmetics Patent Paint Lip Lacquer - I have tried so many lip products, as I must admit I am kind of a lipstick and lip gloss junkie. What I love about these is the fact the fact that they are lightweight yet pigmented to perfection and deliver one of the most intense color payoffs for a lacquer. Currently my favorite shades include: Lacquered Up, PVC Ya Later, Patent Pleasure, Major Glazer, Magic Mirror, Latex Love, and Varnished Reputation.

Mehron Illusion Palette by Mimi Choi - The top row of this palette consists of Mehron's famous Celebre HD Pro Cream Foundations, the middle row consists of their AQ Face and Body Paints, and the last row consists of Mehron's E.Y.E Powders and their INtense Pro Pressed Pigments. This is easily one of the best palettes there is. You can utilize this palette in a variety of ways and they are great for everything from contouring to highlighting.

Chuda Beauty Everyday Exfoliating Cleanser - A cleanser plus exfoliation is a a must. This modestly effective yet gentle beauty product is amazing. What I love most about this incredible Chuda Beauty addition is the fact that it does two steps in one. It is one of the best skincare products I have ever tried in my life and I am almost certain I have listed this beauty favorite for several months, as it has been a favorite of mine since the first day I tried it. And separating fact from fiction, I have tried about everything.

Sulwhasoo Ginseng Renewing Serum - With so many incredible serums in the beauty world today, I have to be honest. There are two that I love this month; however, this one seems to be my favorite as of right now. Everything from the scent to what it does to my face really makes me love and appreciate this product so much.

L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil - I have tried virtually everything and recently, I find myself reaching for this one the most. It is, without question, one of the best bath and body products there is. And it makes me not want to leave my shower. What more can I say? It's my favorite for this month.

Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter - My skin currently looks, feels, and smells amazing thanks to this wonderful Josie Maran addition. Available in an array of scents, the Vanilla Apricot is probably my favorite one. With so many body butters on the market, this is currently one of my favorites.

Nexxus Dry Shampoo Refreshing Mist - When it comes to dry shampoos, there are quite a few I hate, some that I love, and many that I contemplate and debate whether or not to put them on my head again. This one is; however, a holy grail and one of the best there is. In fact, this dry shampoo is so good, I have yet to find one that comes remotely close. Although, I haven't tried them all.

Bumble and bumble. Thickening Go Big Treatment - One thing I noticed about my hair is the fact that some days it simply lacks volume and feels completely weighed down. Luckily for this hair treatment, my hair literally looks amazing. I have tried many hair products and right now, this one is a favorite.

Ciate London 'Knight In Shining Armour' Overnight Nail Mask - This vegan-friendly, gluten-free nail mask works generously to protect, prevent, and even restore your nails to the best they can be. I love this nail mask, as it has made my nails not only brighter, but stronger. Ever since I introduced this into my life, I feel like my nails grow faster too.

NCLA So Rich Treatment - Some of the best things in life go on your nails. Available in a wide-range, variety of scents, this vitamin E infused oil is not only the best cuticle oil I have used to date, but one of the greatest things I have ever put on my nails.

Maison Margiela REPLICA Lazy Sunday Morning - With the top notes being pear, ambrette seeds, and clean, I would definitely describe this as more of a clean floral fragrance. I don't normally enjoy scents with patchouli and musk, as I am more of a gourmand gal; however, there is something so beautiful about this one. With that said, this is definitely my favorite perfume at the moment.

Giorgio Armani Si - This fragrance is strong, sensual, modern, and exudes Italian elegance. With a little bit of aromatic and spice, this is definitely a gourmand floral that is intriguing. I first fell in love with this perfume back in 2016 and it has been a favorite of mine since then.

MuscleTech Iso Whey Clear - With 22 grams of protein per scoop, I love the fact that this is not only low in carbohydrates, but sodium too. Plus, it is love in calories and contains absolutely no sugar. The perfect pick-me-up before and after a workout. Available in Arctic Cherry Blast, Lemon Berry Blizzard, and Orange Dreamsicle, this is ultimately refreshing and a favorite for the month. Lemon Berry Blizzard is my favorite.

MuscleTech Vapor One Pre-Workout - Possessing 350 mg of caffeine per scoop, this flavorful pre-workout contains an unique blend of patented complexes which work to make your workout more intense. When I use to workout, I use to never take a pre-workout; however, recently I have been enjoying the gym more just by adding these into my regular regimen. Available in Jujube Gummy and Rainbow Fruit Candy, I cannot choose which one I like better; however, the Rainbow Fruit Candy is sweeter and tastes a lot like candy.

I am almost certain that I am forgetting quite a few, but overall these are my favorites right now. This concludes my beauty favorites for January 2020.

I’m in love with all of the Replica fragrances! My favorite go to of the year is L’OrĂ©al Glotion! It was recommended as a great product and I love it! It’s a soothing and smooth face moisturizer with a hint of glowing copper. My skin looks dewy (sp?) and fresh!

This is a nice and thorough review. I think I'd love the 2 in 1 cleanser. As I'm pregnant and with a toddler at home, I don't have much time for myself and soon I'm going to have even less! I love 2 in 1 cosmetics as they allow you to save time and you still feel and look great.

I love your review of these beauty products! I like your description of the MAC liquid lipsticks, as I’m also a lip product junkie. I’m also a huge fan of an exfoliating cleanser. I will definitely be giving this one a try asap! I look forward to February’s reviews.
