February 2020: Beauty Favorites

Today is not only the last day of the month but also leap day. This occurs every four years, so the next 'February 29th' will not occur until 2024. You may ask is on everyone's mind, as it used to be on mine for many years—why are there only 28 days in February every year, but leap year? Because it is used to balance out the solar calendar of the year by aligning the sun properly within its original position. It takes 365 days and 6 hours (525,960 minutes) for the earth to circle the sun. Leap year acknowledges, recognizes, and honors the sun and its relation to earth.

February was a month for quite a few things. The day of love (Valentine's Day), Maha Shivaratri, George Washington's birthday (President's day), my amazing mother's birthday, and today—leap year. To honor this fascinating February day, I would love to share with you some of my favorite beauty products for the month.

I enjoy these products in the realm of makeup, skincare, hair, and fragrance. I found nothing related to bath & body nor nails that I really loved a lot this month, although there are quite a few products I already love and enjoy, as I have mentioned them several times before.
