The TRUTH about Michele Barton

When someone close to you dies and you do not understand why, you question frequently what happened to them. You want to know what occurred the day before and the day of their death. It was a stunning Spring day in the Hoosier state when all of that changed forever after Michele Barton received a phone call her son had mysteriously died. At the time of Tanner Barton’s death, he was just 19-years old. With so many questions left unanswered, Barton has yet to receive any pieces to the puzzle let alone answers to her questions. 

As a mother who loved her son and knew him more than anyone, Barton questioned relentlessly the events surrounding her son’s death. According to the police reports, the people he visited waited over six hours before calling 911 to report his death. Why? If you witness someone die or discover them dead, why would you wait so long to dial 911? Upon interrogation, many discrepancies were discovered in the witnesses’ statements. Barton, who undeniably loved her son and knew him, challenged the incongruities and inconsistencies of their testimonies.

As a result, Barton has been eminently vocal regarding Tanner’s  death and what followed in the years to come. The coroner and detective on the case told Mrs. Barton immediately after discovering Tanner's body and interviewing the people he visited that the death was “highly suspicious” as they informed her shortly after the autopsy, they were confident in their surmise. This was in 2012, two leap years ago. It is now 2020 and his death remains a mystery.

Michele reached out to several people for help. Those who promised to help her—did, but only for a short period of time. Those who once helped her, left her and some of those people who once believed Barton and knew her son died of a mysterious death turned completely against her. In efforts to silence Michele and her 1st amendment rights as an American citizen, they even involved the court of law. Not only did Barton receive a subpoena ad testificandum by someone who once promised to help her, but the same person was granted an injunction against Michele. 

If your son visited friends and left in good spirits and health, only to receive a call the next day informing you of his sudden death, can you even fathom the depth of shock and despair that would consume you? The mere thought of such a devastating loss leaves me utterly heartbroken and filled with unimaginable grief. Michele's quest for answers is not only valid but also her inherent human right. I want to also say that it is important to acknowledge that she has consistently displayed honesty and has never engaged in deceptive behavior. As a strong and vocal mother, she rightfully seeks clarity regarding the circumstances surrounding her son's death. It is worth noting that she has never belittled anyone, even those who may have previously supported her but chose to distance themselves.

I am a firm believer that there are many people in this world who will hate you because of the way others support you, as I am well aware everyone in life has the potential of turning against you in a New York minute. When I read the propaganda regarding Barton, I see individuals devaluing her and making it appear as if she is unhinged, peremptory, snooty, and presumptuous by accusing innocent third-parties of something they aren’t guilty of. As they attempt to perpetuate the narrative of Michele Barton being an individual who harasses others who disagree with her, I am reminded of how ignorant people can be. I have had to endure this myself by quite a few people just because my viewpoint diverges and differs from their opinion. This leads me to believe that this kind of cornucopia of foibles and shortcomings does not define those they speak about, but merely themselves because theoretically it is we who define who we are, not anyone else. 

Now, I believe in exercising liberty to and for a higher purpose, especially if that purpose is paramount and tempestuous, as I don’t  believe anyone should ever be silenced. A natural-born right should never be shrouded, censored, nor undermined. However, the legal justice system failed Barton, which is evidently clear after reading Tanner Barton’s full case file. And those who slander and smear her are protecting the corrupt legalities which blatantly refused to further investigate the death of her son. Perhaps those who despise Mrs. Barton deliberately muddied the waters because they dislike her or they simply believe Tanner died under different circumstances thus we will never know. 

The truth is—I have spoke with Mrs. Barton on many occasions and she is not crazy, she is not oafish, she is not risible, and she is not stupid. She wants answers and her mission is indisputably clear—she wants to know what happened to her son Tanner. She has never once belittled anyone personally to me. She has; however, deprecated and denigrated the justice system involved as they have yet to give her an answer on what happened to her son. An answer she rightfully deserves to know. 

With so many questions ignored, why is this woman presumed as a threat, when she is merely a mother wanting to know what happened to her son? Why is Michele Barton depicted as a stalker for criticizing the justice system? Why did the authorities close Tanner Barton’s case with no full explanation rather than a one-sided statement? The truth is—Michele Barton is not a stalker. Despite Barton's demurral, she is still determined to find answers to her questions and has been  ultimately fearless in her quest. I admire Barton for the spunky, dedicated, free-spirit she is. Tanner’s mother continues to be the voice for her son and that speaks volumes about her.

Michele Barton is modestly outspoken and has become quite an eminent figure on social media when discussing the suspicious death of her son, Tanner Barton. She is relatively benevolent in her quest and only responds to the malevolence she experienced since questioning his death. I have yet to see Barton personally attack anyone. I have watched her criticize the justice system including public figures she has reached out to in the past for help, but I don't see any ad hominem from her side of the fence other than anger and frustration. Barton criticizes shadowy speculation that simply do not support a strong narrative. If you examine the death of her son Tanner, you will notice an array of discrepancies that make zero sense. If Barton were to observe these discrepancies from the sidelines and refrain from speaking out against them, what kind of person would she be? 

I like Michele Barton because she continues to fight one of the biggest battles of her life, despite the adversity, vicissitudes, and tribulations she faces. Barton has been knocked down several times in her quest, but remains standing ready to dispute and refute anyone who attacks her son and blames him for his own death. Michele is a woman of unmatched integrity and rectitude who doesn't care what anyone thinks and is only focused on her mission at hand—justice for her son Tanner. Whether she achieves it in this lifetime or the next, she will never stop until it is accomplished. Michele Barton deserves to know what happened to her son because it is crystal clear to the vast majority of status quo society—he died of a very suspicious death.

How much is Tanner Barton's life worth? How much value does Tanner Barton's life hold? To deny Barton a fair trial is to deny the many victims of dubious deaths—justice.  If all mothers remained silent over the deaths of their loved ones, what kind of mothers would they be? Michele's unorthodox approach to justice for her son is an attempt to find answers, answers she not only seeks, but rightfully deserves. 

Michele Barton is now the force, the face, and voice for her son Tanner Barton who died on April 22, 2012 under highly suspicious circumstances.
