Get the hair look: Lea Michele at Comic-Con 2016

Comic-Con is an internationally known event that allows science fiction fans to enjoy fascinating perks of the Sci-Fi genre. As this world-renowned event attracts over 100,000 people every single year, it allows Sci-Fi enthusiasts to take a dip into the world of comics including hands-on workshops, educational programs, anime, costumes, kiosks and virtually every aspect of art. The events also holds an array of contests and giveaways and even features movie premieres and special guests who are attendance. In attendance this year, GLEE actress Lea Michele made an appearance on Friday wearing a white deep plunging cocktail dress. She teamed up with celebrity stylist, TRESemmé's very own John D. for a beautiful yet voluminous style to complement her dress.

“We wanted to keep the look simple, yet sexy and you can never go wrong with a tousled loose curl!” John D. said about the hair look.

So, is it possible to create this hair look at home? Absolutely.

First and foremost, you want to wash and condition the hair before prepping it. Now, taking the TRESemmé TRESemmé Climate Protection Mousse John D. applied this product on Michele's locks, focusing on the roots. This product will set the foundation for a voluminous look that’s sure to withstand any weather.

Now, taking a round brush, you are going to want to begin blow drying the hair. This will create a much needed lift. John D. did a full blow-out before he took Michele's hair and began to roll and clip up each section. Doing this while the hair is hot, the TRESemmé stylist allowed Michele's hair to cool in a curled shape.

Once cool, John D. removed the clips before taking a one-inch curling iron to create bouncy waves. As he continued with Michele's hair, he raked through the waves with his fingers. This allows him to set to hair, keeping it looking loose and touchable.

To finish the look, John D. used the TRESemmé Climate Protection Finishing Spray to prevent frizz, block out excess humidity, and most importantly - ensure the style lasts all day.

Congratulations! You have just re-created Lea Michele's hair look for Comic-Con 2016.
