Grooming Zayn Malik for the 2018 Grammy Awards

You know him from the world renowned, reality television show the X Factor, as you know him as one of the members from One Direction. And in most recent years, Zayn Malik dipped into the entertainment industry solo with huge hits such as "Dusk Till Dawn" featuring Sia and "Keep On Rising" featuring Avicii. And tonight, he is up for quite a few awards. To prepare him for the awards, celebrity groomer Joanna Simkin prepped the talented star's skin for the red carpet this evening. The question remains; how did she do it?

First and foremost, the celebrity groomer prepped Malik's skin by both washing and exfoliating it before gently patting it. Simkin wanted to leave the reality star turned superstar's skin slightly damp. As she continued, she applied the Baxter of California Under Eye Complex to Malik's under eyes. She started from the under part of the area and worked her way towards the outer part of his eyes, applying light pressure. This worked to de-puff the star's eyes.

Then, Simkin took about a nickel-size amount of the Baxter of California Super Shape Recharge Cream and applied this product directly to Malik's face. Before she applied this product, she rubbed it in her palms to warm it up. Subtly pressing on the star's damp skin, the celebrity groomer treated Malik to a light facial massage to stimulate his skin.

"Leaving the skin damp will help additional moisture lock in and the light massage gets the circulation going to help the skin look more even toned," Simkin shared.

Finally, the celebrity groomer blotted Malik's skin with a tissue leaving his skin looking and feeling more hydrated without grease or shine.
