In late February of this year, specifically on February 28th, Elon Musk publicly criticized the Anonymous account (@youranoncentral) on X, stating, “Fake Anonymous Gets Busted.” This comment was a response to the account’s provocative remark, “Your grandparents are MAGA? Don’t visit them ever again,” which came after a tweet from Retard Finder (@IFindRetards) addressing the Anonymous account.
I recall when this particular Anonymous account aligned itself with cyberbullying and attacking me back in 2013 over a decade ago, targeting both Toni Ingram and myself for supporting her. Soon after, the account began attacking various Anonymous members who defended us, even launching attacks on a man named John from Texas, who was known as @Anon99Percenter. It was later revealed that the account responsible for these attacks belonged to a man named David—commonly known as Priest or 9riest—from North Carolina, who was being misled by an individual named Mayra Martinez (known as MayraMM) and a man named Michael Odegard, who went by the nickname Mode. I have limited recollection of either individual and to be candid, I find satisfaction in this not remembering much about every single internet troll I encounter. From the faint memories I possess, they both appeared to have been modestly unremarkable characters with a penchant for harassing innocent people.
From my recollection (because this was over 12 years ago) MayraMM was a fervent and somewhat unhinged amateur armchair sleuth obsessed with the Morgan Ingram case. I’m uncertain if she is even alive or still around today, as I haven’t followed her since 2016 when I made a blog post defending myself against her lies and distractions. Odegard, another erratic individual, targeted my ex-boyfriend Joe Valo and me seemingly without cause, believing we were part of some conspiracy, cabal out to get him. He seemed convinced that Joe and I saw him as significant, but in reality, he came across as an angry and ineffective, self loathing cyberstalker and internet bully looking to blame innocent people for his failures, something Joe and I weren’t involved in simply because neither one of us had no clue who he was until he harassed my mother. My mother referred to this Odegard guy as extremely unhinged, a liar, and a notable scammer when I asked her about this disturbed Darren and why he made a weird blog about me.
Interestingly, both Mayra and Odegard hailed from Oregon from what I remember, which led me to wonder about the influences there, especially at the time when I was facing the harassment from both of them. My initial thoughts leaned toward substance abuse being a factor or possibly some sort of addiction to the bottom of the bottle, but I ultimately chose not to respond, as their claims were nonsensical and lacked any substantive weight. This was over a decade ago so most of the libelous hate from them is a blur now although seeing as they represent the classic loser archetype, I would not be surprised if they are both blaming me and Joe for their foibles and shortcomings still until this day. Joe was also innocent of wrongdoing and found himself unjustly targeted by these reprobates for reasons that remain unclear other than the fact he was my boyfriend at the time. To be honest, it has been about eight years since I last spoke with Joe.
Returning to the main topic, I appreciate Elon Musk for bringing attention to this account, effectively demonstrating that this particular Anonymous faction is a scam. I am uncertain if the account belongs to David Adler or Priest Adler from North Carolina or his wife Christina or Tina Adler, as many have alleged, a collective of individuals, or someone entirely different that is truly unknown to the public. Some have suggested that Jay Leiderman and Kirsten Claire Olson were involved yet this is impossible because Leiderman passed away in 2021 from a heart attack and Olson succumbed to cancer in 2018, so they cannot be part of this account relentlessly attacking President Trump. No legitimate Anonymous hacktivist group would engage in political squabbles or brouhaha on their platform, as Anonymous encompasses multiple individuals united by a mission to advocate for humanity in the digital landscape.
Notably, Anonymous has never targeted me personally. The only communication I have received or ever engaged in with them was over 12 years ago. Someone, who claimed to be a hacktivist contacted me here on this blog. In response, I explained that I have never harassed anyone, including Mayra or Michael or Marcie (who was later exposed as Websleuths Tricia Griffith by one of Morgan Ingram’s friends and many others) or anyone else they recruited to support their false narratives. I clarified that my opinions, supported by factual evidence of a crime case were shared here on my blog and stated as my opinion, do not equate to destroying anyone’s life. I also highlighted my interview with Mrs. Ingram, emphasizing her right to question the irregularities surrounding her daughter’s suspicious death and case. I think Mayra or Tricia told the hacktivist I was bullying a man who was mentally challenged. They also told the hacktivist that I’m from Iran or was living in Iran at the time or something and that I was part of ISIS or Al Quaeda. This makes me laugh today because at the time I was contacted originally, I was living in Bozeman, Montana. I think they also tried to say I lived in Butte, if I remember correctly. I thought it was funny how these armchair detectives get with their crazed Apophenia. It made me wonder how many crime cases people like Tricia and Mayra have wrecked with their pickled brain conspiracy theories. Poop sock say what? The term “crime clown” makes more sense. The unidentified hacktivist replied with an “I’m sorry” and never contacted me again after that. Given that this was over a decade ago, I did not save the actual correspondence.
I hold respect for individuals genuinely striving to create positive change—those who are not malicious or vindictive, who seek justice while remaining out of the spotlight and who embody a spirit of progress rather than one consumed by hatred and blame. When a hacktivist account engages in bullying based on political views, it raises questions about the character of the individuals behind the profile and pseudonym. In America, we are entitled to free speech; however, when one represents an organization that champions change yet attacks others for their political beliefs, it calls into question their understanding of the differences between personal ideology and the principles of democracy itself. With that said, I commend Elon Musk for succinctly exposing this group with just four words and a single emoji.
