Buffalo Style Macaroni Cheese

Some people seem to think that when you are a vegetarian, you have very few options to choose from. This, of course, is false. As a vegetarian, I can tell that you have many options to choose from. Some of which, I have shared on this blog.

Today, I found myself wanting macaroni and cheese; however, I had a craving for bleu cheese and hot sauce also. Don't ask me why, I just wanted those two together. 

Then, it hit me. Why not incorporate those into this American classic dish to make a buffalo style? I basically boiled water, added some salt and pepper before adding the pasta. 

In another pan, I melted American cheese, Cheddar cheese and butter with a hint of cream. Then, I added some crumbled bleu cheese followed by some Frank's RedHot Sauce. I cooked this on medium heat before draining the pasta and adding it to it.

Finally, I plated the dish accordingly. I also added more hot sauce followed by crumbled bleu cheese for good measure. 

This is ultimately amazing. Although I know I won't be able to finish it all, I am pretty certain I will eat most of it.
