Today I made a plant-based smoothie with blueberries, blackberries, Vita Coco coconut water, Silk coconut milk and NOW Foods coconut sugar. I am going to drink this before I workout today. I already tasted some and it truly epitomizes "amazing" in every sense of the word.
Ideally, it is the perfect pre and post workout drink and great for not just vegetarians and vegans, but anyone looking to enjoy something healthy and filling during and after your workout.
When it comes to working out, I cannot eat before I workout, as it makes me feel a little nauseous. And when I work out, it is usually on an empty stomach or I'll drink one liter of Vita Coco coconut water. Sometimes just bottled water.
I am open to ideas on what drinks I should make and try. I think tomorrow I will try a different drink. Maybe something with bananas in it. What do you think?
