"This look is camp to the max. I was inspired by Louis XIV and his royal court, Dior runway extreme, but with the edgy spirit of Bowie. She is the perfect muse to Louis XIV and embodies a fantasy level of his vanity," Pati Dubroff shared regarding the inspiration behind this look.
So, is it possible to recreate this look at home? Absolutely.
First and foremost, celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff created the ultimate powder finish utilizing the Marc Jacobs Beauty Accomplice Instant Blurring Beauty Powder in the shade Muse. As she continued, she applied the Marc Jacobs Accomplice Concealer & Touch Up Stick in the shade Medium before applying the Marc Jacobs Accomplice Concealer & Touch Up Stick in the shade Fair to her actual eyebrows. She also used this product highlight and brighten her eyes.
Dubroff wanted to create the ultimate dramatic eye. She applied the Marc Jacobs Beauty Fineliner Ultra Skinny Gel Crayon Eyeliner in Fine (Wine) shortly before using the Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Scandaldust. Dubroff wanted to create a bright pink towards the center of the eye, she she used the Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Matte Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in (Pop)ular and the Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Provocouture on the top. She finished this part of the eye by adding some glitter.
To brigten the eye, the world-renowned makeup artist used the Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in (N)ice. Next, she applied the Marc Jacobs Beauty Fineliner Ultra-Skinny Gel Crayon Eyeliner in Big Eyes.
As the celebrity makeup artist continued with Priyanka's eyes, she applied the Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Primer Epic Lash Primer to the bottom lashes to lighten them up. Taking white pencil, she applied this directly to the top of Chopra's eyes using a fan. To finish the eyes, Pati applied several coats of the Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara to the Bollywood beauty's eyes.
To complete Chopra's Met Gala look, the celebrity MUA used the Marc Jacobs Beauty Poutliner Longwear Lip Pencil in Currant Mood to shape and enhance her lips. Finally, she applied the Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick in Boy Gorgeous in a heart shape to highlight the cupid's bow.
