"We matched the color of the eye makeup to the clothes and hair and created six different beauty looks using pastel colors. Lashes were applied to help define the eye, the face was kept clean with a little makeup and the brows were brushed up and natural," Nars shared.
So, is it possible to recreate these amazing looks at home? Absolutely.
First and foremost, Nars prepped the models skin. He applied the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer. If you are searching for an outstanding moisturizer with a hint of color, I highly recommend this one. He, then, applied the NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer. As this product is due to launch in Spring of 2017, the perfect alternative would be the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. This product is one of my favorite beauty essentials right now. The amazing makeup artist finished the face with the NARS Soft Velvet Loose Powder.
For the first look, Nars decided to go with purple, as this is one of the shades that complements the actual clothes and hair. He used the NARS Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow in Desdemona and in Phoebe.
For the second look, the NARS creative director and founder wanted to create a look with pink. Like the purple shade, the pink is one of the shades of the designs. Nars used the NARS Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow in Desdemona, Phoebe and in Callisto.
For the third look, the celebrity makeup artist decided to create a look using Silver. Silver is a haute transitional shade and really works for every season. For this look, he used the NARS Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow in Lysithea and in Interstellar.
For the fourth look, Francois took a step outside of the box and decided to use green. He applied the right side of the NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Earth Angel followed by the NARS Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow in Tarvos.
For the fifth look, Nars emphasized in using blue shades, as these shades truly complement the clothing and the hair for the Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2017. For this look, he used the NARS Velvet Shadow Stick in Grande-Large. As this product is not due out until Spring of 2017, an amazing alternative for now would be the NARS Larger Than Life Eyeliner in Khao San Road. He, then used the left side of the NARS Duo Eyeshadow.
And for the final look, the sixth look, he heavily embraced copper. The world-renowned makeup artist used the NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Mediteranee followed by the NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Isolde and the NARS Matte Eyeshadow in Persia.
To finish the look, Nars used the NARS Lip Gloss in Triple X.
Congratulations! You have just recreated the makeup looks for the Marc Jacobs show at New York Fashion Week. #NYFW
