Merry Christmas 2019

Good morning! Well, it is finally here. Merry Christmas to all of you who celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas has always been one of my favorite holidays and still continues to be a favorite of mine, although I must say that I am loving and appreciating Diwali almost as much.

I woke up today in a good mood, but kind of overthinking in a sense where I cannot believe 2020 is only one week away. As I have quite a few plans for the year ahead, I cannot help but think how fast time flies. I use to never think time was wasted, as life (my life, at least) has always been relatively exciting, never a dull moment. Now, I just want to accomplish so much and I feel like time is wasted when I don't feel like I am doing that.

Perhaps, I am feeling this way simply because of the season or because I really do not know what the future will hold. I am hoping good, great, and amazing things are in store, as I believe I deserve that in life.

My plans for today, Christmas day are relatively simple. I am going to enjoy my day off by exchanging gifts with family and friends, reminiscence about the joys of today and share some laughs and wonderful memories, sing some Christmas songs, and maybe even play in the snow. I also intend to cook an amazing dinner which consists of lasagna, mozzarella cheese sticks, tiramisu, and spumoni cheesecake served with Moscato.

Christmas is a day that I will forever cherish, as it is very near and dear to my heart. It is a holiday I love to embrace, as I love decorating my entire house with holiday themed decor and blaring Christmas music. I also love the time off from work, as I think I am enjoying sleep and lots of it.

Well, it is time to start cooking. I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas, wherever you are in the world. Merry Christmas!
