Merry Christmas 2019

Good morning! Well, it is finally here. Merry Christmas to all of you who celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas has always been one of my favorite holidays and still continues to be a favorite of mine, although I must say that I am loving and appreciating Diwali a lot lately. Christmas still reigns as my personal favorite.

I woke up today in a good mood, but kind of overthinking in a sense where I cannot believe 2020 is only one week away. As I have quite a few plans for the year ahead, I cannot help but think how fast time flies. I use to never think time was wasted, as life (my life, at least) has always been exciting. Very rarely a dull moment. Now, I just want to accomplish so much and I feel like time is wasted when I don't feel like I am doing that.

Perhaps, I am feeling this way simply because of the season or because I really do not know what the future will hold. I am hoping good, great, and amazing things are in store, as I believe I deserve that in life. I believe everyone is deserving of happiness and success, including those of you who think low of me for whatever reason.

My plans for today are relatively simple. I am going to enjoy my day off by exchanging gifts with family and friends, reminiscence about the joys of today, as well as, share some laughs and wonderful memories. I also plan to sing some Christmas songs and maybe even play in the snow. I also intend to cook an amazing dinner which consists of lasagna, buffalo mozzarella cheese balls, tiramisu, and spumoni cheesecake served with Moscato and holiday-theme mocktails.

Christmas is a holiday that I will forever cherish, as it is very near and dear to my heart. It is a holiday I love to embrace, as I love decorating my entire house with holiday themed decor and blaring Christmas music for months leading up to today and even the days after into the new year. I also love the time off from work, as I think I am enjoying sleep and lots of it. I also love those holiday Hallmark movies too, as they all have a romantic angle that just makes sense. I haven't watched television in a while, but do enjoy these movies during the Christmas season.

Well, it is time to start cooking. I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas, wherever you are in the world, as I hope you enjoy today with your family, friends, and loved ones. Merry Christmas!
