So, I decided to record And I Am Telling You (I'm Not Going) today on Smule. I have been wanting to record this for quite a while. As much as I really like Jennifer Hudson's version, I absolutely love Jennifer Holliday's rendition the best. And I am not saying this because she is the original singer of the song, I am saying this because in my opinion, the soul she exudes is much deeper than Hudson's. 

Hudson is amazing and I love her voice, but Holliday epitomizes what this song is about. I love the message behind this song and of course the soul behind the lyrics.

This song is an angry song with a very strong message most of us can relate to, as I know I can. 

So, I decided to go onto Smule and record this dashingly daring Dreamgirls tune.
