Spring into Summer with the new Dior Cruise 2020 collection. Courtesy of Maria Grazia Chiuri, the makeup was curated by the one and only Peter Philips, the creative and image director of the brand. Presented in the picturesque El Badi Palace in Marrakesh, Morocco, this is as diverse as it gets. In fact, Philips recently shared that it is just that.
"This is a runway show where the wide diversity of skin tones. I could work on a natural, made-to-measure makeup. It is a pure and luminous look that reveals natural individual beauty, the creative and image director of Dior shared.
But the real question remains; however, is it possible to recreate this look at home? Absolutely.
First and foremost, Peter Philips prepped the models' skin using the Dior Backstage Face & Body Primer. As he continued, he used the Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation. Then, the world-renowned makeup artist used the Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette in 001 Universal, where he applied what he describes as a "very light veil". Next, Philips touched up the models using the Dior Flash Luminizer followed by the Dior Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer.
Continuing with this look, Philips did a wonderful job with executing this to work naturally yet effectively. The Dior creative director went immediately for the Dior Brow Styler. Additionally, he chose the shade 003 Amber Neutrals from the Dior Backstage Eye Palette, as this shade was perfect for every models' skin tone. He finished the eyes by applying several coats of the Dior Diorshow Iconic Overcurl in 090 Black.
To complete the look, the image director of Dior applied the Dior Addict Maximizer. He touched up the lips using the neutral shades from the Dior Backstage Lip Palette.
Congratulations! You have just recreated the Dior Cruise 2020 makeup look. #Dior2020
