Brooke Houts is disgustingly vile

Most of you reading my blog probably have no idea who Brooke Houts is. In case you are unaware, she is an irrelevant YouTuber who gained notoriety for making super edited and cringe-worthy videos of her with her dog, a doberman pincher named "Sphinx".

I am not sure if it happened early this morning or last night into the early morning, but Houts basically exposed herself by uploading a video onto her YouTube account. She actually went and uploaded the wrong video, the unedited version. Shortly after she discovered this, she deleted it (or made it private) and uploaded the edited one.

With almost 330,000 subscribers, Brooke Houts subscribers noticed and the video went viral, as when one domino goes the rest follow. The video started circulating all over the world wide web as a result. I watched the video a few hours ago and was literally disgusted by this woman's outlandishly sinister behavior. In the video, you can see her yelling at the dog and sticking her finger in the poor dog's face. Shortly after, Houts is seen pushing the dog away, pinning it down, and even spitting on the dog.

She is disgustingly vile.

Based on the video, I believe this is not the first time she has abused her dog, as you could tell by how Sphinx reacted to her abuse, he had to deal with this before. This low life should not be able to own a dog. And shame on anyone who defends this piece of shit and her abuse. To be honest, I am hoping the ASPCA and PETA get involved and remove this innocent dog from Brooke Houts care. Not sure if YouTube will delete her channel, but they do a major disservice glorifying this animal abuser simply for a quick buck. As the second most visited site online, it is evident and crystal clear why her channel still exists.

Anyways, Houts attempted to save face and basically do damage control by uploading one of the most cringe-worthy apology videos ever. I don't believe her apology is sincere and if anything, I truly believe she's sorry she got caught more so than sorry for hitting her dog.

I believe Brooke Houts is dangerous and clearly unfit to be caring for this precious sentient being let alone any dog at all. Hopefully she is investigated by authorities and charged with animal cruelty for her crime.

My neighbor asked me to adopt these puppies

So my neighbor just came over with this beautiful black lab mother and her puppies and asked if I wanted to take them. As much as I would love to take these little angels, I already have quite a few of them living with me. I literally want to take them.. I have a beautiful and big backyard so I have space for them; however, I have to think of my other dogs and how they would react to new a puppy, let alone puppies.

Sometimes these small decisions are literally harder than rocket science considering it is relatively moot based on a "should I?" or "shouldn't I?" basis. I feel like I have to look at all scenarios including hypothetical scenarios. "What if I travel out of state?" or "What if I travel out of the country?" Plus, in addition to this, I work 9 am until 5 pm everyday. And although I have weekends completely off, I do work on weekends lately.

I live alone so I don't know if I can handle these pretty little puppies right now. As much as I want to take all of them into my home, I don't think I would be able to do so because I work so much. I have raised plenty of puppies in my life and one puppy is work. To take on 6 little puppies plus their amazing mother, making it 7 would be lot of work and time, which unfortunately I do not have at the present.

One thing that I was kind of concerned about was the mother, as I can see her ribs. My neighbor voluntarily showed me the food she eats. As my dogs are spoiled and get homemade dog food, these dogs eat the usual dry food with the occasional soft food in the can. I honestly don't know what to say.

Anyways, I just let my neighbor know that I cannot not take them; however, if he cannot find homes for them they are welcome to stay with me, which I have no issue with. I love animals and would never want them to be homeless or hungry.

RIP Murphy

I am so heartbroken. There are no words to describe how I am feeling. My dear cat Murphy has died. She was sick for quite a while; however, the way she passed away has left me shattered, distraught and devastated. She was walking out to the dining room and collapsed. I am not sure if she was having a heart attack or a stroke.

As I tried to revive her, she crawled to me, struggling to meow and breath. I looked at her and told her it was "ok" to go and I would see her in the next life.

She died immediately after.

As I struggle to wipe away the tears, my heart is heavier than ever. I remember my life with this precious, sentient being and can only question why good things don't last forever. Why her? And I have to admit, I feel as if I lost a family member.

With that said, they say it takes a moment to meet someone, a day to appreciate them, a week to like them, a month (or more?) to love them, but it takes an entire lifetime to forget them. Rest in Peace Murphy. I will never forget the amazing cat that you were in this lifetime and the impact you made in my life. You will be forever missed. Laid to rest: 2003-2017

Gwinnett Georgia Animal Shelter Kills Wrong Dogs

I don't know what on earth is going on in Gwinnet County, but it has me and many others incredibly appalled. Recently, I discovered this story after watching Randy Travis from Fox 5 cover this story. In the Gwinnett County area of Georgia, as well as, Fulton County area, the local animal shelters there are killing the wrong dogs. What makes it more disgusting is they were told not to kill the animals, which makes a violation of the judge's original order.

A total of four dogs have died so far, with the numbers going up. I mean, how can these people live with themselves doing this? They did this in January, where they originally killed three dogs which belonged to their rightful owner John Ahmadinia. Additionally, they killed two other innocent dogs. This excludes the four that have died just recently.

I use to live in Athens, Georgia and Toccoa, Georgia once upon a time, so I found myself really dipping into this story. And as an animal lover, I am disgusted and appalled at how inhumane these shelters are here. This is unacceptable and should never be tolerated as ok.

As of right now, both shelters are facing an array of pending charges. I do think that there will be some legal fights and I hope justice for these animals and their owners who loved them is rightfully served.

Happy 11th Birthday Murphy

Today is my amazing cat's 11th birthday. I remember when I first got her 11 years ago. She was about a month old. She was already meowing the moment she walked through the front door, unleashed and ready to take over. My dogs wouldn't allow anyone near her, due to their protective yet maternal instincts. It was the cutest thing.

It's hard to believe she is 11 years old. Where has time gone? I hope she lives until I have my first child. One thing is certain, I am honored and blessed to have a wonderful cat like her. She was amazing then and she's amazing now.

Thank you Billy Housh

My amazing Christmas gift from my dear friend William Hooshmandi came today. Simply amazing! It's a watercolor painting of my cat Murphy by the talented Joanna Barnum from Baltimore, Maryland.

Just beautiful! I absolutely love it! Actually "we" (as in me and Murphy) love it! Thank you so much Billy!

Update on my oldest dog

As many of you already know, my oldest dog had cancer. She recently had 3 huge masses removed. The vet stapled her area after removing the masses, but failed to do it correctly, as they were coming out days later. I had to take her back to the vet because she developed infections, including an open wound that was acutely infected.

Another vet that works in the practice stitched her, but once again, they did it improperly. They did, give her a cone/funnel so she would refrain from messing with the area (because she was actually messing with it). She was unhappy at first, but she's definitely getting use to it.

I decided to go ahead and do what I could using the available resources to me and basically she is happier than ever. The infection is gone and she is running around and playing again.

Hey University of Wisconsin, STOP TESTING ON CATS

STOP EXPERIMENTING ON CATS

There is no excuse for the type of cruelty exposed in the photos seen here.

Please put your resources towards finding effective and kind ways to help people. Stop funding this type of animal cruelty and investigate this case to make sure those responsible are properly held accountable.

You will learn absolutely nothing by torturing an innocent creature. Torture is not science and this type of behavior refutes and emasculates human's natural rights to a modest degree of social harm. This is just unethical and should never be supported as ok. This is also relatively costly and no one wants to spend money supporting this sickening act.

I am disgusted that you have to go to such lengths as to test on a cat and it would be even more disgusting if you own one. How would you like to be experimented on? University of Wisconsin, you are disgusting for supporting this filth. Why test on cats when we have murderers, rapists, pedophiles, and other criminals in prison? On top of that, they (prisoners) are using government money to live a relatively lavish life. Leave the cats alone!

Let’s use our voices for those that cannot.

My dog is home from the hospital

So, I just got home from work and on my way home, I had to pick up my dog from the vet followed by her prescriptions. When I showed up at the vet, almost immediately, her tail was waggling and she started barking. It is just an amazing feeling to see her in good spirits again. She is living proof that there is no need to euthanize an animal simply because they are suffering and/or in severe pain. Solutions come naturally. My dog survived getting hit by a car and she survived cancer. Thanks to God, miracles always happen and to me, my dog is a real fighter who epitomizes a real miracle.

Amazing news about my dog

She is going to be ok. She pulled through. The vet had to remove not 1, but 3 cancer masses. She seems to be stable. I am so happy words cannot express. Now if only I can get this cell phone case off of my iPhone 5. hahaha!

Today, my oldest dog is having surgery

It's 5:30 am and I cannot sleep. Today, at 8 am my dog is having surgery. The vet confirmed that she does, in fact, have cancer. She suspected it was cancer, as did I, however; once she took the sample, the cells confirmed so. The vet also said that my dog, despite being 14 years old, has many years left in her.

When she told me this, I found my emotions being lifted almost instantaneously. My dog is truly a force to be reckoned with. Being a survivor after getting hit by a car at the age of just 1 and enduring seizures throughout her life, she still manages to live. I want her to pull through and I think inspite of everything that has happened to her, she's a real fighter.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

My cat says hello

My cat Murphy saying hello. Despite being quite frisky and finicky, she is very intelligent and also extraverted. She is very capable of communicating relatively well and it is obvious that she understands the English language.
